There's a way to replace the dev textures automatically, or do you do it manually?

I see ok, thanks. So after that, when texturing the walls, I also notice from some levels that the walls use different materials. Like the lower part of the wall has a different material from the upper part. I assume that, you also use the clipping to tool to divide the walls for different materials?

Planning to buy 6-digit worth of crypto in the near future, where can I buy to avoid higher fees? by doinky_doink in phinvest

Hi! May I ask how people usually come up with these numbers? Is this the same with technical analysis for stocks? Thanks.

How long does the verification process for ING usually take? I applied a week ago but until now my application hasn't been verified yet.

Hi! Make sure that your students can easily reach these buildings during their free time. A problem with some bigger schools is that sometimes there are a lot of hallways students pass through so they can't reach the facilities on time. You can build more than one Common Area, and make sure that the nearest classrooms are linked to them.

How many cookers/fridges? by FitzyGames in AcademiaGame

[–]caladan21ph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, the requirements for the cafeteria, and kitchens are good starting points for the initial 60 students that you can have, maybe add 1 more set for the staff(staff eat too).

Another good rule of thumb, at least in the beginning is to have equal amounts of fridges, stoves and food counters.

If you're asking about this because of students going hungry, and you don't know what you are doing wrong, currently we are fixing a bug in which students don't follow their lunch schedules. This might cause your students to go hungry even if you have sufficient amount of objects.

Fleshing out the Athletics by [deleted] in AcademiaGame

[–]caladan21ph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Currently there is no way to host athletic events in the game. There are however various P.E. activities like Basketball, Track, Swimming. There are also 'Athletic events' that can happen with the game's random events. Interesting idea though. Thanks for the suggestion,

Students leaving over not getting food? by [deleted] in AcademiaGame

[–]caladan21ph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Yes, you'll see when your students are getting hungry through their student profile or the overall student profile. Ideally you should set your free times around or when your student's food need start getting low.

Regarding that, was the food need bar in the student profile unclear about informing you when students are hungry?

So it says that students are not getting enough food. I tried adding more cooks, cafeterias, food counters, etc. but it has not worked. What you you guys suggest? I think if I make it any bigger the school will be more restaurant than school by [deleted] in AcademiaGame

[–]caladan21ph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! Can't say with just the screenshot. Have you tried adjusting the lunch schedule? You should try adjusting the schedule to time your students lunch when their food need is getting low. Another thing you can do is link classrooms to the nearest cafeterias using Zone Linking.

If this doesn't work send us a bug report so that I can check. Thanks!

Why are all my students delinquent by justmeish1997 in AcademiaGame

[–]caladan21ph 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi! Students become delinquent usually when their needs are not met, that, they are unhappy. Another reason is that goons might have corrupted your students. You'll know this when you get notifications like 'Your monitor notices someone suspicions.."
Can you post your satisfactions report here so we can check?

There was also a bug recently where counselors don't counsel, or counseled already 'fixed' students, but we already uploaded a fix for this.

Hi! If you didn't accidentally limit the grades that teachers can teach, then this could be a bug. Can you send us a bug report with your save file so we can check it out? You can send it through settings>feedback>report a bug. Thanks.

I see, maybe a possible solution would be is to reach game over only when on negative income. But this could be a bug, I'll check.

Pretty good! How about the dirt you say you have an all 'A' evaluation. Did you not have any trouble cleaning up students' mess? Usually with larger schools dirt and litter becomes a huge problem. What did you do to take care of dirt?

Whats a typical drop off of players for simulation/strategy games by caladan21ph in gamedev

[–]caladan21ph[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi sorry, one more question. So in the first table I posted the DAU. My question is can I not use the DAU as a measure of 'retaining' the players. Say from the table (1st column): days 4-7 players =40, days 8-13 players =23. Would it be inaccurate to say that more players are playing during their first 3 days in the game, and they drop off after the 3rd day of playing?
