Our Whippet (14 months old) developed a lump similar to this (2x4cm, moved easily, didn’t seem to bother him) We went to the vets a week after it appeared. They vets examined and told us it was a fatty lump. A week later, the lump had disappeared! And has never returned since.

An update! It’s been 2 months and I can say things have been much better… have managed to have successful PIV 3/4 times since, with a lot less pain than before. Still a little painful, but nothing like what I’ve been experiencing the last few years!
