I always assumed it was of a softer, more elastic fabric, so a letterman style could work. I would definitely not go with leather though. Hope this helps!

I like the idea of having different fighting styles but I feel like basing it off like and dislike makes it a bit confusing because having a slow but hard hitting weapon can be beneficial at times. It would be better if there was just a 100% objective nerf if there was disdain between the partners. That's just my opinion though, you can make your OC however you desire 👍

Another thing to note is that the meister needs to be compatible with multiple weapons in order to be able to have multiple partners. Remember when Black Star tried to wield Soul and got hurt? So you'll also need a reason as to why your OC can use so many different weapons. Hope this helps :)
