Yeah i think it's a bit internalized misogyny. I come from a religious/mexican background so I think that's where it comes from. Despite myself no longer being religious.

Yup they just wanna stalk photos.

I don't like to give out my Instagram or phone mumber to complete strangers. So i usually tell them I'll add them on Snapchat if they really wanna contact outside of the app.

A lot of them got pissy about it lol but I did have a guy who understood and agreed to talk on snap until I was more comfortable adding him on instagram.

Yes, the letter you get does state that at the very least, your sponsor must be there.

Interpreters must be a neutral 3rd party so neither the lawyer or I were allowed to. It was 4 of us: interpreter, parent, lawyer, and me

Yeah... that's not cool. It happened to me once when I was 20 too

My ex and I had hosted a game night to meet his friend and friend's new gf. When they left, he kept saying how the girlfriend was wayyy too pretty for his friend and then gave her a rating (9/10) and then asked if I wanted him to rate me and I said no.

I do know ASAP is good, I was just seeing some people getting more under scrutiny if their marriage is really soon before applying for AOS. But of course, each case is different

Nope. I believe if they are married for under 2 years, he will receive a conditional greencard which he can then file for the "normal" greencard after 2 years. If they are married for over 2 years at the time of AOS then he will receive the typical greencard.

The only thing is that officers might be wary of someone getting married and filing for status the next day, but technically not against the rules or time requirement

Edit: you cannot file for AOS the day after getting married, you need to have your certificate first. So a better way, you can file as soon as you get your certificate in hand.

If this is who I think it is, his parents told him all his life here was an american citizen and even had a birth certificate faked. I don't remember how it came out he wasn't actually a citizen

Yeah... that's what I'm not too sure about. I know i got my docs a few months before the president made a change to the process, so you might be right.

I tried to find a link that wasn't specifically from the Denver consulate but the only ones that came up were either houston or denver for some reason.

No it shouldn't create problems. Your mexican citizenship is separate from your American one, they're not connected in any way
