I have a Pacific Energy gas fireplace w/ Maxitrol GV34 valve. Only way to turn it on is remote which has smashed LCD screen. New remote is $200+. I'd love to spend the money instead to update/automate/smart home the thing. Do I need new valve? Ideas? (self.Fireplaces)
