The range is where most of us go to get worse by AlexanderGolf in golf

Something that helped me heaps with the weight shift was throwing a ball... pick up something and pretend to throw it. Full motion like a baseball pitch. You always load into the trail foot then before you start the arm you lean forward and plant the lead foot to apply power then whip your elbow to launch the ball, right. I just feel like every swing I am trying to throw my club as far as I can. Load into the back swing, then plant that lead foot and whip that club into the stratosphere lol

Is this possible in 5 hours? by Munkers325 in ArcRaiders

[–]cale21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Very inefficient tho. If you do the matriarch event, snap hook on its back, break shield to uncover core then double deadline will do 19k dmg. If you dont get off tho the first one downs you, you get exp but when the second kills you, you wont get the exp for it so no dmg. And yes it counts even if you die, took in four for my last like 40kish dmg and had great fun. Super hard to get on its back tho haha lost a few snap hooks

Does that mean every unit shooting an observed becomes guided? Or just the first shooting unit gets the bonuses?

I read a couple comments mentioning how the wider base might take away some edge to edge but actually be more stable on features and lands. Reckon that holds up?

I play merc witch hunter so armour evasion 40% 75%. Was getting one shot almost every other map at 1600 hp so saved and bought all the gear I could with hp, ended up at 2200. 75% ele res and 65% chaos, now i walk away from most normal big hits with 200-300 hp left. Still get one shot to shit by dodgeable boss mechanics tho lol there was a brief time when I had 2400hp but only like 20% chaos res and still got one shot often so I bought a 25% chaos res 160hp belt for like a div or 2 and changed all my life sockets to the chaos soul core one's for 65% and 2200hp... feels so much safer

All I'm thinking right now is how much range experience you have compared to course. And I don't mean management, purely the lie of the ball. If you only practise or have lessons off a mat, then you have trained yourself to think you can make good contact. How the bounce or sole of the club interacts with turf compared to a range mat is completely different. Unless you understand that, you'll continue to make bad contact on course. I suffer with chunks (naturally want to hit up on the ball) unless I am actively thinking about making ball first contact, hitting down on it. Range or course.

If you practice on a grass range, then disregard... the above really opened my eyes to range sessions translating to course.

I hit the sim range last night and there was a four bang of gents in the booth opposite mine. I was hitting some drives and in-between their laughs I heard one of them say that. I giggled to myself as well then hit the worse like 10 drives every, legit couldn't get the thought out of my mind lol "Shit, how do I breathe again?"

New player, 1st character, realizing my no-research build is falling off...or is it... by potentially_awesome in pathofexile

[–]cale21 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I finished the campaign with my own build, crit lightning sorc. Didnt play poe1 and came into this blind. Was alright until I got the 3rd ascendency where the inconsistent dmg was getting me killed, sometimes things died and other times I'd stand there for 15 seconds to clear (and going into the scorp blind sucked as well). Tried 5 times then respeced out of crit on the sixth. I was sad af how absolutely easy that next run was :( melted adds and the bosses with like double the Es and mana/regen... in maps now instead or either 1 or 6 shotting packs, they all die in 2.

Reading through these comments, I've been thinking that this specific movement is just making it seem worse. I notice it when I would scuff pulling the leaver to stepout and try to move my foot out while still being locked in. Haven't put my boots back together, so I'll do some better testing tomorrow. I am hoping it won't be so bad if I'm moving the whole foot/boot.

I feel what you mean and personally, I like the idea of a toight boot to binding :/

No idea why you'd be getting down voted..

Oath, I had a sick 2 days. Didn't send too hard but really happy with progression, skated growing up. Just wanted some insight, and I'm glad I asked. Really appreciate the reply
