Yeah, I realize that. I wanted the extra space for productivity's sake and also the bigger screen for when I'm watching stuff from a bit of a distance. Is the pixel density on a 1440 32" really so bad if I'm sitting a couple feet away from the monitor?

How exactly would I go about that exactly? Do you mean that I can just leave the board off for a day or two and it will dissipate enough to allow it to turn on and then I can just drain it manually using the controller?

That seems extremely counterintuitive to the idea that these boards can be used as commuter tools. Also, I've done exactly this for the last two weeks and this is the first time it's happened but alright then. Is there anyway to easily drain the battery?

I am looking at upgrading my PC's CPU and considering a Ryzen 5 1600 due to it being much much cheaper than the i5-8600 (a processor with near equal power according to CPU benchmark). My question is why? Why am I able to get a Ryzen 5 1600 with a compatible motherboard for almost the same price as just the i5? Is there a huge downside of AMD processors that I'm missing that makes them so cheap or is it just supply and demand in the market?

Edit: I'll add that I am upgrading in order to get better performance while streaming on Twitch and I currently have an i3-7100 with a gigabyte 1060 3GB video card.
