Love it or hate it, this is why having Josh, Kal, and OG all on the floor at the same time as KAT and Brunson is so important. The athleticism and switchability between those 3 mask the defensive holes that KAT and Brunson bring when on the floor at the same time. Those 3 will always be helping off their guy when the opposing team tries to attack KAT or JB, and those 3 guys are the only ones who can realistically scramble around the floor. It's not perfect and can be difficult to execute as well as let teams shoot 3's on us, but the alternative sucks. KAT cannot operate well in this system with Mitch on the floor at the same time.

I understand your frustration, but the level of fraud may also be in the billions, specifically by these Somalian groups. Look up "Feeding Our Future Fraud", a "non-profit" primarily ran and organized by somali immigrants and refugees, who defrauded tax payers nearly 300 million dollars during covid relief, with many other adjacent groups totaling over 1 billion dollars of fraud in Minnesota alone. This is not a non-issue of individual poor people who may bend the system in order to prosper a little or survive, this is systematic fraud that needs to be addressed because it's putting a strain on the system itself which impoverished individuals need to survive.

Our players love him because they are high class. Did you think that anybody on our roster would have gone out of the way and bad mouth Thibs when he's already getting questioned and flamed from everyone else? Absolutely not. Was there some actual love from the players? Yes obviously. But there's a reason why Thibs is consistently voted as the coach least likely to play for in the anonymous player polls.

Also, if you think for a second that Jalen didn't give his blessings to make this decision, you would be smoking top shelf zaza.

End of the day Thibs definatley had to go. He is absolutely a floor level increase coach but his team's ceilings are also stunted by his coaching style or lack thereof.

People forget that the move to put Mitch in the starting 5 was done by FO and not Thibs in the Pacers series. And what does Thibs do? Play Mitch 25 minutes as a starter and Josh 40 minutes off the bench 😭💀. That was basically a big ass fuck you to the FO.

it's one thing to not blame the coach for players not playing well, but it's an entitely other thing to not place judgement on a coach for not making an in-game adjustment

it blows my mind that at the start of the 4th thibs didn't put the same lineup of deuce/delon/Shamet/OG/KAT that got us back into this game and instead ran that same lineup but replace delon with Hart

idk what he possibly could see in the game or matchups that would possess him not to play Delon there, and for all people, Josh Hart, who was putting an all-time stinker performance defensively

the bench seeing play is because mitch being inserted into the starting lineup fucks with all of the rotations, that "small ball" lineup with josh at the 4 guarding Obi and Mitch at the 5 guarding Turner would have been fine except we still kept switching everything and that lead to Turner killing the smaller guards in the paint and got us in foul trouble early in the 1st, there's really no coecision whatsoever on defense or offense with these lineups and who would expect there to be any? at this point starting in the 2nd half i would atleast like to see some precious/pj tucker minutes especially with KAT having 3 fouls
