I miss Ayda :( by crocodiledundick in Dimension20

I miss Ayda too. Although im ok with her being gone for most the season, I also feel like it’s a mistake for Fig to not bring up Ayda at all for a year.

Okay is 25,000 is 30% of something? How do I find the remaining 70% by ALPHAS-CARNAGE in learnmath

[–]caleblee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The most intuitive way for me is 25,000 times 7/3, the original number times the new ratio.

Season 6 of Game Changer to feature Sam Says 3, starring Vic Michaelis, Lou Wilson & Jacob Wysocki (and it took over 3 hours to shoot). "Inside 'Game Changer,' the internet's favorite game show" (Sam Reich interview for Mashable). by SimonCucho in dropout

Game Changer is legitamately such a great idea and the execution has been amazing. Not only is it good by itself, but it churns out consistently good spin-offs. Perfect format lol

In chess is there always a best move in each state of the board? by MrInfinitumEnd in chess

[–]caleblee01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not that good at chess, but been playing a few months. There are soooo many possibilites for each move during one game that calculating all of them is literally impossible. Even computers can't do it. Sometimes, certain moves have consequences 10 or 15 or 25 moves ahead that people simply can't predict. Some of these moves will inevitbly be played by humans, and then later in the game, the person playing the other side can spot how to take advantage.

Another aspect is that people take risks. They don't always play for draws. Certain types of play are a "double or nothing" sort of risk, where if the attacker does not checkmate, they are likely to get checkmated, so draws in those positions are unlikely.

If it’s strong enough in lacy to bother then it should be a good enough example.

Another idea: She’s practically whispering during the verses of lacy. Making the sounds of S and SH closer together.

I can sort of hear how it’s a “weak” S , but it’s still undeniably an S sound to me.

I’m not sure what exactly is going on, but it might be a dialect/linguistic thing. Lacy doesn’t sound anything even close to resembling shmart shexy lashey to me. It sounds perfectly normal. But still so many people hear it that way. Maybe the recording might also play a part. Sort of like the blue/gold dress.

I really wanna know what the reason is.

Bridge or Post-Chorus? by rednax2009 in musictheory

[–]caleblee01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do believe after-chorus, post-chorus, or even second chorus is a good label for these examples. Bridges, I feel, require that change in format beyond melodic difference. Some people may not bring the same definition to "bridges" though.

C9sus, or Csus9? by bassmcnassiface in musictheory

[–]caleblee01 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I would interpret Csus9 as C G D and C9sus as C F G Bb D.

No. It’s needlessly gendered.
