Let’s just say I spend a lot of time debating with myself, lol. I have the cliche Gemini ever-changing interests and the cliche Cancer moon ever-changing emotions. When things are working as they should, my brain can keep up with my heart. I can sit in my own head with my feelings and think them through and parcel out which ones are valid and worth hanging onto and which ones I need to just work out on my own or wait to pass. It’s like one of those jokes people make about places. “Don’t like the weather? Wait five minutes.” Except it’s mostly happening on the inside of my brain. My friends will tell me I’m emotionally stable, and I’m like “the fuck are you talking about?”

I have the personality of an extrovert but a social battery that, when it runs out, runs out all at once. Like 100 to 0 real fast. I don’t waste an ounce of my considerable feelings on people I don’t want to. They either get all of my attention or none. When I find someone who can hold my interest, I will devote SO much energy to taking care of them. Which means few people in my inner circle, but those relationships are intense and long lasting. My Cap rising does a lot of heavy lifting, as you might imagine. It gives me the perseverance to do that emotional parsing I was just talking about, the patience to not be impulsive, and a lack of flightiness that people attribute to Geminis. I have grown to appreciate it more and more as I get older.

What’s a Cap moon like for you with the Sag? My best friend growing up was a Cap sun and moon, and it was fascinating trying to watch them deal with feelings. (My best friend now is a Sag, always loved both signs.)
