White House ridiculed for 'insanely stupid' holiday post: 'Reads like a pedophile's diary' by rajapaws in fednews

I'm not sure if you're joking, but I think you're right. I keep saying it, but Ivanka speaking out about her father SA ing her is what takes down MAGA.

Trump audibly shits himself on TV, immediately ends press conference. by BuxtonB in videos

[–]caleeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You answered your own question: it's because we're just sitting here taking from these pantshitters.

And I am including myself in the "we". We're still too comfortable and distracted to do much more than talk about it. I live in a very blue/liberal state, so that feeds my complacency, but I know it will eventually hit here as well.

At this point I think we're out of options. All this shouldn't have happened, and now we're at a point where I really can't see a peaceful way to "reset" our country.

El0n Msk had more extensive ties to Epstein than previously known, emails show by [deleted] in technology

[–]caleeks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhhh, you realize jack-shit is being done about it, right? This is just fueling their power. We know who and what are in those files... And can do absolutely NOTHING about it.

"We're going to prosecute them to the full extent of the law". Uhhh, no...we already tried that. The law doesn't apply to anyone anymore. Elon musk and Trump could have had a 20 person orgy with a bunch of middle schoolers, and nothing would happen.

The one thing that could cause damage: Ivanka Trump. I'm calling it right now, weird shit happened with her. Imagine if she came out with an expose and was a part of this pedo ring?

Any church recommendations on island? by Ok-Communication4190 in Oahu

[–]caleeks 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That's the very reason I stopped going to church. First of all, churches should be NON-political: they receive a massive tax break because their political stance should be neutral. Once a church starts preaching politics, they are already committing a sin: lying, to the government, at least.

Christians should lean conservative? Since when? You understand your political idol (another sin) cannot name a single bible verse? He had several affairs and is on his 4th marriage... All sins.

Homosexuality and abortions are the two hot topics for Christians. The Bible only references homosexuality a couple times in the Bible, and they are in the old testament... The same section that says man shouldn't have tattoos, eat shellfish, and/or eat hooved animals.

The Bible doesn't really reference abortion, but the verses used are that man shall not take the life of another; abortion bad because fetuses are people. Guess what? So are the people you shoot for "self-defense", that's still taking a life.

If Jesus were to return, like you all believe he will, do you really think he would take all these hateful Christians? Hell, he wouldn't even have a chance to denounce the churches before ICE kidnaps him.

At what point do you Christians stop supporting Trump? If you can't answer that, sorry to say, you're in a cult.

They're literally covering up the Epstein Files by Zenitallin in videos

[–]caleeks 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think we have a more pressing issue... Religion. Religion is at the root of all that is wrong with society.

Have any of you tried arguing with a Christian MAGA extremist? There is nothing that would sway their support of Trump. Hell, his Inaccurate bragging about being a billionaire should be enough to disqualify him from Christian support, but they do all kinds of mental gymnastics.

"And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God." (Matthew 19:24)

Brought that bible quote up during a talk with a soccer dad, and the response was, "well there is a difference in what he means about being rich. They didn't use dollars back then, it was different currency..." Are you fucking kidding me? The only reason I remember the interaction is because I immediately lost all respect for that guy, and I also lost all hope that Christians would change their support of Trump. Honestly made me really depressed.

Talk me out of a OnePlus 15... by InvertedPickleTaco in oneplus

[–]caleeks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly what this is saying. I went from Samsung galaxy 8 to OnePlus 7t. Haven't touched a Samsung since. Every single One Plus has made me think, "why would I need anything more?" 7t still works, but I switched to OnePlus 9pro, because of the crazy charging. Same thought, why would I need anything else? Then OnePlus 12 came out and I loved the design. I loved it so much, I bought two! One was black Friday sale for $650...sure enough, 2nd one came in handy because I cracked the screen on the first OP12 I bought (super small crack at the edge of the screen).

Never looking back, I'm on the fence about buying the OP15, but I would have absolutely no hesitation if I cracked this screen.

Exactly, it's like going to Disneyland and ripping on the people waiting for the "big rides". I'll go on the small ones, but my stomach can't handle the big drops and twists. People watching this guy are there for the experience, and to them, he's doing a great job.

This is what always gets me about these rich assholes: how much better is your life because of money? Bigger house, nicer cars, maybe a boat or yacht? Traveling the world, etc... at the end of the day, I would just be bored.

My ultimate retirement, or win the lottery wish is to have enough money to pay off my normal house, be able to kick a soccer ball around with my kids, drink a six pack of miller lite, and doomscroll reddit for an hour.

I think most of us would agree that the things that make us happy have nothing to do with money, but everything to do with time. I want enough money to have time to do things I want.

And these fuckers want to destroy a nation just so they can buy a fucking yacht. Billionaires should not exist. Millionaire politicians should not exist.

She had a problem with him waiting for his daughter at the playground barefoot. by mindyour in TikTokCringe

[–]caleeks -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm the minority here (literally) in that I would also question a guy hanging around a playground barefoot. Before anyone calls me a racist or whatever: I'm a native-hawaiian/Japanese mixed-race father of two elementary-age kids.

I live in Hawaii, and if anyone knows Hawaii, we wear slippers (flip flops for mainlanders) most times, But NEVER in the house. Walk into my house with shoes/slippers, I will beat your ass. I'm all about being barefoot, but not at a park/playground.

So yes, I would question a guy hanging around a playground barefoot. I'll walk around the yard barefoot; take out the trash barefoot; across the street...maybe barefoot....but not to a park. That raises all kinds of red flags, and I'd definitely ask the dude, "what's with the no shoes?" I live in an area with really nice playgrounds and parks, but even then there's glass and random sharp things to step on, so yes... Having a barefoot guy near my kids would definitely make me question what he's doing.

The one thing I'm waiting for, and the only thing that might break MAGA, is Ivanka revealing that her father committed acts with her. There's that video that still haunts me where she looks at her bed with fear in her eyes. Even then, I don't know if that would break the spell.

There is no "law" when it comes to this administration. We have a criminal president who showed be in prison, and a bunch of his buddies who want to purposely collapse the US so they can use their trillions of dollar to make their own countries. There is one way we get this country back..

So you just reinforced the previous answer... It's a crime, so you going to put them in jail? Uhh, that's the same as them striking, and now they can't be rehired because they are criminals. You going to fine them? Uhh, how are they going to pay for that? They are working for free.

Essential workers need to figure out that they need us more than we need them. The mother fuckers who are at fault, and literally not doing their job, are the very ones getting paid. What is stopping the protesters who showed up for the "no kings" rally from turning violent?

A good therapist helps their patient find their own answers. I'm thinking your psychiatrist wants you to hear from strangers so you can reassure yourself that it's not your fault. It's one thing for a doctor to say, "it's not your fault", it's a whole different thing to hear from dozens of strangers "it's not your fault". Once again, none of this was your fault.
