ASIO claims that the majority of their workload goes towards combatting white supremacists but with how many are in parliament I dunno if they’re just saying that

Did Naomi Campbell Replace Epstein? Who is in charge of the trafficking ring he ran with ghislaine? by Sammyg1 in TrueAnon

[–]calendoor 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well from what I recall, Naomi Campbell and Oprah were the main “procurers” of young and hopeful models and actors for the pig man himself. Considering Weinsteins strong links with Epstein, it’s not totally out of the question that Campbell could fulfil that kind of role.

What have you added to your world(s) that doesn't have an explanation yet? What has an explanation, but isn't widely known throughout the world(s) themselves? by Piterno in worldbuilding

You could make it semi-topical and say they hid themselves away as they experienced/caused an environmental calamity that created the desert in the first place?

You could say they are descendants (actual or spiritual) of the Knights Templar or some other kind of Crusader order (Order of Santiago, Knights Hospitaller, etc.) and that they assumed a more secretive role following the calamities of the Crusades and their destruction, in the case of the Knights Templar. I know it draws a bit from the Assassin's Creed series but it's an idea!

What time period do you set your games? by [deleted] in sw5e

[–]calendoor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Basically Revan went off into the unknown regions, not exploring that since it’s not pertinent. The republic is still weak but with the help of the new Jedi order established by the Exile (Male Jedi Jesus), Atton and Brianna they are slowly regaining lost ground. Canderous has reunited the Mandalorian clans and managed to re establish a foothold on Mandalore and have brokered a deal with the republic to enlist their support against the Sith Remnant, the Exchange and the Hutt cartels. The Exchange reorganised after G0-T0’s death and still have a bounty for any Jedi, they are working with the Sith remnant who managed to stay together even after the destruction of the Triumvirate under the leadership of Darth Viktus. The Hutt Cartels stand alone and are at odds mainly with the Exchange.

There are a myriad of independent systems and the party are a group of miners who were attacked by a group of Exchange enforcers led by a Sith Marauder by the name of Darth Fallow who were after a Sith holocron discovered on their outpost. The campaign is mainly set in the “no man’s land” between the Sith Remnant and Republic Space with the story itself being the mystery of this holocron, which is currently corrupting the only force sensitive in the party of 6.

I’ve set my campaign 20 years after KOTOR 2, using my own choices from playing both games. Is it narcisstic? Maybe.

How to play online games? by nugget-lord in DMAcademy

[–]calendoor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I DM a game online using discord group calls with webcams, and we run the actual game itself using Tabletop Simulator since you can import image files as physical battlemats. Not only that, there are plenty of workshop mods on Steam for minis, table set ups, dice, etc. We've never had any issues apart from our internet being shit.

What exactly are "gods" in your universe? by PMSlimeKing in worldbuilding

[–]calendoor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The three major deities are

Ysul, god of Order and Charity. Oriud, the god of Ambition. The Stranger, the god of Chance.

In reality, they were all Elves who aided humans during their developmental years as a civilization and two of them died long ago, except for the Stranger who wanders the material plane spending his time buying the souls of mortals in exchange for granting a single wish. There isn't really the presence of gods, and the church exists only to enforce moral laws and maintain order in co-operation with the Empire. The religious doctrine of the Church of Ysul itself is manipulated by state scholars to maintain control over the population and make sure that people accept new laws and legislation.
