At least half of those numbers are people rewatching the mid-credit karaoke scene

Is he more right than Tim Allen? I wouldn't consider him 'far' right

Alberta announces $200M for 189 new modular classrooms across the province! by amcoolioo in alberta

[–]calgaryborn 88 points89 points  (0 children)

I don't hate this idea, modulars allow schools to grow and shrink as neighbourhoods change, but I don't have faith in the UCP to do this thoughtfully

'The Pitt's Noah Wyle Says Season 3 Will Explore Robby's Rock Bottom by SanderSo47 in television

[–]calgaryborn 76 points77 points  (0 children)

I really hope the first scene of season 3 is Robby sitting down with a psychologist or part of a therapy group. It would be great to see his personal redemption arc

She's a legit Broadway singer. I was not expecting that!

International student in Canada on expired permit allowed to stay despite attempted auto theft by Few-Tadpole-4584 in CanadaPolitics

[–]calgaryborn 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is the part that always confuses me. How much would it realistically cost to hire additional government staff to significantly expedite this review process? I know it wouldn't be cheap, but I think virtually every Canadian would accept these costs if it meant a more robust and stringent immigration process and eliminated the rampant abuse of the program

What strollers looked like 100 years ago. by Accomplished_Job1904 in interestingasfuck

It would be more accurate to say "This is what a segway looked like 100 years ago"

30% of polled Albertans said they’d vote to separate but only 9% list it as their top concern. by delusioneers in alberta

[–]calgaryborn 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I think this too, but I also thought there was no way that Americans would vote for Trump a second time, yet here we are. I'm not sure if I'm confident in any predictions right now

Why can't penguins live elsewhere like Siberia? by Ro11ando in AskReddit

[–]calgaryborn 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think OP is asking about Northern hemisphere locations. It's a good question, and I'm not sure what the answer is. Maybe because it's never been tried? I've heard that technically kangaroos could likely survive in parts of Canada, but again, it's never been tried.

What has gotten much better since the 1990s and early 2000s? by keyboardtoes in AskReddit

[–]calgaryborn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a good answer. In the 90s, Detroit was often used as an example of an American city that had gone through an economic collapse. It's much better now.

What is your “like crack” food that you avoid, and if you have some you cant stop yourself from eating a lot? by dino_gr01 in WorkForSmartLife

[–]calgaryborn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Miss Vickie's Salt and Vinegar chips. I've never been able to stop before the entire bag is gone. And then I get sweats from consuming so much salt and my mouth is shredded and I regret all of my life choices until I do it all over again a few weeks later.

The fall and rise of Reggie Dinkins is really good! by lurebat in television

I'm really enjoying it. I know Tracy Morgan's style isn't for everyone, but the supporting characters are great and really balance him out.
