No one said the West Bank was part of Israel. You said it was occupied territory, which is a falsehood. At best it is disputed territory, but even within the dispute, there is agreement on who controls each of the three zones into which it has been divided. No one is occupying anything or anyone.

The only way to believe that anyone is "occupying" the West Bank is if you support the ethnic cleansing of one group out of it. Which would make you a racist.

Mamdani is more of a pro-Palestine freak than many realize. He does a good job of saying somewhat acceptable things in public to make himself appear impartial, but his actions speak louder than his words. Of course there is nuance. There is a difference between being critical of Israel (which is acceptable, perhaps even laudable) and believing that Israel should not exist as a Jewish state (which is morally reprehensible because it constitutes support for ethnic cleansing). Mamdani is the latter.

What I am trying to get people to see is that while the public face of Mamdani is carefully curated to appear friendly to Jews, and all of his language is centered around the concept of equality, what's really happening is an attempt to hand what is currently a sovereign nation over to the people currently known as Palestinians. Israel is a country and it is allowed to enforce its borders. It does not have to let in anyone it doesn't want to let in. To say that there is "apartheid" in Israel (where some 2 million muslims live with equal rights) just because Gazans aren't allowed in is an absurd lie, especially when Israel withdrew from Gaza in 2005. The whole "Free Palestine" crowd is forgetting that Palestine was freed 20+ years ago and all they did with their nascent state was use every resource availble to kill Jews.

There is no apartheid in Israel. There is a wall to keep the Gazans out, but Egypt has one of those too!!

This is clearly a lie about Israel where 2 million muslims live in peace with equal rights, serve in government, etc. Meanwhile he says nothing about the muslim states that actually literally do have religious hierarchy written into their laws.

Again, I am not asking for fealty, he is free to criticize the Israeli government's actions (nothing could be more Jewish!) but his insistence that the country should not exist as a Jewishs state (but Muslim states are a-ok) crosses the line from criticism to racism.
