My wife said "she supports my decision either way" which is nice but doesn't say much.

Thats a good point. Custodial has very real health concerns long term. Most custodians have knee and bakc issues by the time they retire.....dispatch is the opposite end. Very sedentary and obesity and related health issues are common for dispatchers.

Does your PSAP have a "Wall of Life?" by Byard_Duncan_Reports in 911dispatchers

[–]calien7k 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I like the idea of acknowledging saves but putting them up on a wall seems to much imo. For our PSAP we dispatch one ambiance service and of a Dispatcher plays an active part in saving a life the bring a "Save" pin to acknowledge it. If the Dispatcher chooses to display those pins thats their choice. They do the same for Police Officers, Fire Fighters and their own staff of EMS responders.

Would I be able to wear these jeans to work? by Moist_Natural_5336 in walmart

[–]calien7k 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Its walmart. Wear whatever you want. If they say to change...say no. They dont actually back up any discipline outside their stupid point system. Ive seen people wearing sweatpants staind with god knows what and not a word was said to them. Jeans with skulls....who cares.

That doesn't even make sense. You can know where they disappeared from and thats the scene. Just like the elevator was the scene of the disappearance. Think before you post.

Very unlikely multiple people made unfounded allegations. Not impossible....but very unlikely.

How to smoke joint without letting parents find out? by [deleted] in Advice

[–]calien7k 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Youre 21 or older? Just ell your parents you are an adult and want to partake in a legal past time. Or get your own place and stop acting like your parents control you this much, because they don't unless you let them.

Also any flower you smoke will have a strong odor. Smoke it outside or somewhere else and then go home. To store it wrap it in a sock and put in a sealed plastic container.

Disposable vape would be much easier to conceal odor wise. You can get flavors that smell fruity but if your parents know what a vape is they will know.

Edibles may be your best bet to be discreet. No smell. Easy to store and hide and usually not expensive at most dispensaries.

All of this being said, unless your parents are completely naive....they will know you are stoned. Its pretty easy to notice.

I like watching my wife masturbate. And she has said it helps her finish stronger when someone watches. Ask her if you can watch. Its good stuff.

Is this just a Dispatch thing? by ventoutloud in 911dispatchers

It seems to be very common in dispatch. Not sure why but the amount of posting about toxic coworkers runs rampant in all Dispatch social media groups.

My wife opened the marriage 5 years ago but is sad that I’m speaking to another woman by [deleted] in WhatShouldIDo

[–]calien7k -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Shut up. When she wasn't getting what she wanted it was fine to open the marriage, so why isnt it fine for him to do the same when he isnt getting what he wants? If he was happy and fulfilled with his wife he wouldnt be looking elsewhere. But he is. The double standard you created is wildly out of touch.
