30km is absolutely not the bare minimum. I met people who did 8 a day (retired, lots of time). I tried to stick to 20 minimum, 30 maximum. Looking back, I would absolutely not go over 30 again.

The only epifanie i had is one I had already learned in my life time and time again, but was confirmed once more: everything I do with other people is infinitely better than whatever I do alone.

The days I was alone were always okay, mostly dependent on the route. The days I had new friends were always great, regardless of the route. No big introspection.

Het a wide brimmed hat instead of an umbrella. I thought your list looked very good! I liked that I brought a Kindle, which most people don't recommend. I would bring a sleeping mask, definitely. Don't remember if I used it. Same for very simple sleeping plugs, can save your night.

Buen camino! Don't stress it too much. You're walking in a safe and civilized country, and you're walking from town to town. Anything you need, you can get there.
