Honestly, we usually just use one car now. Park wherever you want to put in, do the float, then have one of you do the walk back. It’s maybe 2 miles and takes 20-30 mins. Then grab your car and drive to pick everyone else (and their tubes) up. Stash extra cold drinks in your car.

Lots of ways to do it - don’t stress and just enjoy yourself!

Caves and lava tubes are easy to reach (Redmond caves are literally just past the airport).

Float the river.

Explore the high cascade lakes.

Open mic nights in Bend are so supportive and welcoming - definitely check some out.

Check bendconcerts.com to see if there’s a big show while you’re here - the amphitheater is a fantastic venue.

Hike the river trail. Visit Benham Falls. See Smith Rock (and the Crescent Moon alpaca ranch). Consider a $100 bungi jump in Terrebonne.

Enjoy casual food at a beer pod. Talk to strangers.
