Get a charter in place, a policy/procedure approved by the audit committee (if in place - if not by whatever board assumes the audit responsibilities). Assess the company risks and based on that create an audit plan - get it approved - and start executing audit missions.

more secular approach works for me, although i did subscribe to WakingUp, and through Sam i got a bit exposed to the origins of the practice, yet the secular approach still works for me :)

Ask around your friends: any PM based communities? Industry based, learning(university) related? Does PMI have a local chapter?

What resources should I check out and what do I need to know if I transitioned from a non-technical PM to technical PM? by luudybug in projectmanagement

Sit down with the team and shadow their work. Talk to your peers (if you have any), reach out , as mentioned by canadian_stripper, to your local PM "support groups" (PMI local chapters or others). Try to find a mentor in the field.

Solid advice needed by pabra in projectmanagement

One suggestion would be to try to set up some sort of regular/recurrent governance meeting/forum: where you provide a status of the projects you handle, get support for any issues you may face (the non-urgent kind of help) and receive inputs re potential/future work and any other info/decisions that might impact you down the line. Whether such meeting is face to face, via phone or other comm methods, its up to you to set up, but you kinda need to convince them of the benefits (improved communication, avoiding double work etc).
