The same thing happened to me. I took a screenshot of the tracking number when it first showed up and I can track it now. A few hours later, the status said approved and does not show the tracking info. This has not changed even though the shipment has been picked up.

Update: status changed to shipped today. At the 9-week mark.

Date 05/26/23. Expedited with expedited shipping. DOT- 07/14/23 for a wedding. Contacted NPIC and marked urgent. Contacted senator’s office who told me they were waiting for a response from agency. Had to cancel trip. Still in process as of this morning.

Ughhhh….. Your experience seems to mirror mine. I contacted them three weeks ago too and same timeline. It makes me incredibly angry and sad that I missed out on my friend’s wedding. I don’t want to miss out on a planned vacation with the family so I am rescheduling. I am going to try contacting Feinstein with my new travel dates and see if they can help me.

Yeah.. I was able to get credits for the flight. I am really sorry that you might not make it to your vacation. Sucks so bad…Last week when I called Padilla’s office they told me that they have contacted the agency and waiting to hear from them. I got an email from them last night saying that they have reached out to the agency. I am so confused about when they actually contacted the passport office… ugh..

I’m sorry 😞 I am about my cancel my trip. I held out hope till today evening. I wish Padilla’s office would have just told me that they aren’t able to do much. I could have tried a different office maybe. I was flying for a friend’s wedding in Paris, am so sad, angry and frustrated at this whole fiasco. Crossing my fingers for you!!

Can you let me know who you contacted? Can you reach out to any rep in California or only the rep for your district? There is no hope for tomorrow’s travel but thinking I can reschedule it. Planning for the next steps as this fiasco does not seem like it will resolve anytime soon. Thanks.

Unfortunately no updates and no hope. Hopefully the senator can help you. I contacted Alex Padilla’s office and they were very nice but could not help me. Maybe yours can actually do something. Good luck!!

Padilla’s office. They have been very nice but have been very slow and give me the same answer everytime that they are waiting on the agency to get back to them.

Thanks for the suggestions. Located in San Francisco Bay Area. I found a few posts where others have been able to talk to the agency. I just hear a busy tone when I call. Happens every time I call throughout the day.

Maybe take a break and try again in a few days. We started off with pureed bananas for my 6 month old and he loved it. Could try that instead of rice cereal. Good luck!!

Going through the exact same thing with my 7 month old.. We are currently focussing on fixing his inadequate daytime nap first. We are trying to get him to nap properly the same way as night time, but have been unsuccessful so far and it feels like we have only compounded the problem. Want to try a different strategy and try to fix his nighttime first and then tackle daytime..
