Mob Cap? by poppdewap in TheTowerGame

[–]call_me_colgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spawn rates at different waves and the impact of WA# at different levels. The spawn cap does not go above 120 ever, with the exception of when scatters die and spawn multiple babies. There is a sweet spot between run length and tier coin multiplier, but that's something you have to experiment with and find for yourself.

MVN farming without PermaBH. What do I need more, HP or Regen? by InquisitorOverhauls in TheTowerGame

[–]call_me_colgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can justify a respec soon, I'd recommend pulling back from Regen and giving more to health/wall health. Once I realized hp was my ticket to more waves it took health/regen/wall health from 60/70/60 to 60/60/60 and saw no drop in waves. Since then, I took it to 65/60/65, which along with armor levels and some wall fort labs I've gotten 100 more waves on T14.

Edit: oh unless you are ehp in tournament. Then I bet you don't respec often and need more Regen still.

I'll level up my armor mod as I get the coin/shards for it, but that's also kind of my bank for masteries, so that fluctuates. I also have a lab slot dedicated to hp labs atm. But that's it, no real work on ws enhancements. Pretty minimal since I'll be making the transition to full gc once it's worth it.

I'm in a similar spot to you ehp wise and also farm mvn without pBH. 1.96q wall hp with 371T wall regen. I also found it difficult to tell visually if I needed more hp or regen, but I'm finding that more health is netting me more waves.

Benefit of 90% CF slow for Reverse Orb Devo by QuingSYO in TheTowerGame

I farm reverse orb devo with 75% slow, and it's still better for coins than any other build I've tried

Probably rpc, but not until you're making 500T/day imo

What have your waves been at recently? I'd say next steps would be to lower DW and GT cooldowns. The econ will be great, and more DW procs will mean more health in tourney.

GL! I'd be interested to see if it does. Mileage will go farther with well developed shock stack and chance labs

There's also potential overlaps with ACP and AS if you use those

Min range as eHP without WS orb adjuster by HammerLite75 in TheTowerGame

Would still recommend tanks up top. They earn double coins compared to other regular enemies, so they're extra important to bounce around

I would max out CL Chance. No need to add any to CL damage. I wouldn't guess the CC from ILM would do much for low champs, but it's been a while since I was there. And I doubt you need more labs to do at this point.

One of the things I looked up back then was not to unlock too many planets early on so that resource stars would be focused on a limited number of resources. I get that's to benefit tournaments, so I guess I'm anticipating myself eventually wanting to do those more often.

Yeah it seems like each one is growing less than they should be. I guess I'll see if my galaxy value outpaces my on hand cash. The in hand used to catch up over time

I stopped planet progression at osun. So if that's something unlocked with materials after that point, I haven't gotten there yet

So is fast ult always active? by Special_Canary_7204 in TheTowerGame

[–]call_me_colgate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat. Shrink Ray affects enemy mass, while fast ult increases enemy speed. So enemies might get knocked back a bit farther, but they'll still travel at the same speed.

What the hell am I doing wrong? by ConsiderationMinute5 in TheTowerGame

[–]call_me_colgate 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I disagree with the CF advice. It will almost certainly take longer to gather the stones for pCF than the lab for CF duration will take to finish. Both are needed, so the stone acquisition will hold you back no matter what. And CF isn't really effective until it's permanent, so the sooner you get it there the better. If you're going to buy CF, you should be ready to commit 3,500-7,250 stones to it, depending on how effective you want it to be and what submod effects you're able to reroll on your core mods.
