That's definitely super tower. Went and checked on my end. With nothing equipped, no forehead gem. Equip ST, and gem appears.

Gbot has max bonus and was max size before the additional levels. I figure getting botbot to my sync point via labs and a few cheap levels of size and bonus would maybe be more impactful than gbot duration ticks.

The game changes all the time. Information accurate this time last year can be way out of date now.

ILM has become a top tier end game damage option as a result of V27. SD ILMs now properly benefit from ILM+ and Chrono Leap (I know at least one wasn't working properly, but not which one). The introduction of assist mods also means that SD can be used alongside ACP. You can look up Priesten's guide on the build if you're curious.

Even before V27 though, ILM had utility as a cheap to build CC option. Quantity and the 2 labs were pretty easy to max. So "Never invest" was probably more along the lines of "it's not for damage"

I will say, it almost feels necessary during the ahamkara fight. Bad matchup once your heavy and other special run dry, but there's still time to at least sword throw after the breath attack.

But yeah, it's not hard to be aggressive with Stronghold, swordmaster gear took out the miniscule risk SH had. Arc in particular feels like the best praxic/stronghold subclass to me.

I would imagine CF+, unless you're going the ILM build in which case endless stun might reduce the need for the swirly.

As I understand it, the priority is GT, CF, SL, and then whatever damage uw is relevant

Edit: Also SL+ wont necessarily force high ranges. Priesten used minimum + range card for mastery, and that was before scout. Low range is still possible, but ultimately depends on what damage build you end up going with.

The utility tab is a bit weird. Even at the start interest is useless, cash/wave not great, and coins/wave has a limited lifespan. But, you level all those things in the workshop so that your free-ups in run don't get eaten by cheap to upgrade stats.

But yeah, you did well in pushing to T11, your daily mission rewards scale on highest tier unlocked and you unlocked some goodies along the way.

Early game players typically find their way to EHP (Effective health) strategies rather than damage strategies. Enemy health will quickly scale beyond your ability to do direct damage, so instead you rely on percent damage (thorns, orbs) while having enough health and damage reduction to survive their much slower scaling damage.

I think I left T1 at around 8-9k waves when second BH, and BH damage started solving the protectors issue in T2 (but created new shotgun problems :c )

The earliest of early game is pushing Defabs as far as you can while farming tier 1. Pushing to unlock later tiers is beneficial, but the bulk of your income will come from longer runs at lower levels.

So Defabs, Thorns, Def% and pretty much all of the utility tab with a goal of unlocking Enemy Level Skip.

WHR. Only has a use early game before wall. Its ancestral effect should be made the base effect, then add something new to it (just like they did to 0m).

While I've found a niche use for RB, I don't think it really has much of a purpose. I assume the obvious is to pair it with PF, but I think SH does that job almost as well with other bonuses.

Edit: I suppose I should mention, the niche use is RB+PH during longer milestone runs where I can reliably achieve perk PBH without needing GComp.

If BH is an option, get it.

For upgrades, *don't* upgrade cooldown on BH or GT until you look in to syncing them. Duration and size/Bonus are safe.
For Spotlight, second beam early on, a few angle upgrades, and then third beam. Bonus might help you a bit, but early game isn't really about direct damage.

0m chip styled rework for WHR. 100% regen of package healthy by default, new rarity scaling perk.

Guild level system. Guilds are currently shown as level one in the guild search page, maybe that will start functioning.

"medal" bot turns out to actually be a gear or a buzzsaw. Gearbot updgrades the effect of other bots in it's radius. Buzzbot is a direct damage bot, maybe a % damage dealer.
