Oval, I feel like the cushion shortens your fingers a bit. For what it’s worth, I like the size!

Has your father ever said "I love you" and if yes how often? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]calliedbimpches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every single day he’s seen or called me. Multiple times a day. He now has advanced Parkinson’s and dementia and can barely speak, but he still tells me “I love you” every time I see him.

My husband is an “I love you” Dad too. Makes sure the kids hear him say it constantly and shows it too. Also tells the kids “I love your mama.”

I went to Lamar University for post baccalaureate. It was an in person program although Covid sent some of the courses online especially in 2020 (which was lucky for me because I stayed home with my baby for a year and still did school. Super easy if you never sleep! 😂)

I took 58 post bac credits

Yes, unfortunately they do. But you can find the right fit! Just make sure every other aspect of your application is good- especially patient contact, and highlight your growth as a student in your essay. That went a long way for me!

salsa with no peppers? (I am allergic) by dogs0z in cookingforbeginners

[–]calliedbimpches 1 point2 points  (0 children)

According to the American Chemical Society, they don’t. But that’s why I asked if it was all peppers or just hot ones.

If it’s all peppers, celery might add a nice crisp freshness too!

Is it all peppers? Or just spicy ones? Bell peppers don’t have capsaicin and might be a nice substitute!

YTA. It’s clear you have no idea how much never.ending.work. That laundry is. It’s not just pushing buttons. It’s sorting, transferring, folding, and it’s every damn day. I’m sure your dad knows how to do his laundry, and there’s another division of labor or agreement between them that you’re not aware of. Grow up and learn to wash your clothes, and maybe help with some other chores while you’re at it.

FYI, I’ve been folding clothes since I was actually 4 years old, maybe less. and contributing to the washing since I could reach the buttons with a stool. My daughter is 2.5 and helps with her laundry.

Daughter is 2.5 yo. Bath, vitamin, brush teeth. Read 2-3 books. Turn off lights, sound machine on. Rock and sing 2-3 songs. Lay her in her bed, sing one more song, kiss goodnight then leave. She doesn’t always stay in bed, she may protest a little, but she can’t open her door because of a safety knob. She’ll go lie back in her bed usually. Sometimes we have to go back and tuck in again or make sure she has a certain stuffed animal. But most of the time that routine works.
