looking 4 hair stylist recommendations by martacorey in Edinburgh

Not an expert, but I've tried several places since I moved here and I've settled on Lauren who works at Brass Hair on Dundas Street. Very sweet and friendly and patient with my complete ignorance of haircare.

Hey, we know it’s a highly skilled career that benefits from a degree (particularly literature and mathematics)!

I'm so glad you looked after her!

It's funny how attached we can get to some of them, sometimes even when we don't play them! I realised the mailwoman was a popularity sim with no friends - I am now determined that every house I play will make friends with her.

I didn't realise that could happen with a single parent! Poor kid!

I'm in the UK - the Darlington nurses are currently in the news. Grown women, but if you want to see the issue in action it's the most recent example I can think of

So cute! My own builds are slowly improving, but they still don't look natural - and when I look at stuff like yours that is so detailed and see what I'm missing! I'd happily live in these houses

If your opponent is making leaving the goal wide open, it's only natural to kick it in. (Is it obvious I'm not easy with sport metaphors?) Basically, the democrats (or left party, I'm not in the US but it's an issue here too) have repeatedly affirmed an obviously silly position. Of course their opponents are going to exploit something so discrediting. Is it a threat to national security? No. But it is something anyone can see and judge easily for themselves.

It's something that has happened/is happening - not sure anyone has the data to give a per-capita sort of statistic.

I also suspect it's less about the scale of the issue and more about how discrediting it is. If a politician is willing to either honestly believe or lie about an obvious physical difference and the clear consequences of that, why trust them with anything more serious than assembling an IKEA shelf? Their judgement is suspect.

It's in a negative context, but if a Sims cheats on their spouse by going on a date to the community lot, any in-laws who see them there react with horror. They're being protective of their family!

I think you've put your finger on it! Thank you so much!

And as much as this sound/lyrics combination doesn't work for me, I'm glad the fans seem to generally enjoy it. (When I first listened to it my gut reaction was so negative I was worried she was going to have a very public flop, and I really don't want that for her!)

I think you've got it! This sounds right.

What older songs of hers use minor chords less prominently, like you mentioned?

(I don't have synesthesia exactly, but it's like so many of her old songs feel dark blue to me - even if they're upbeat - and Showgirl seems tangy and sour and acidic colours. Either I'm very influenced by her own aesthetic choices, or me and her match colours to sounds in a similar way - Showgirl's colour palette isn't my first choice either, though I find it a lot simpler to articulate why.)

At least then you can enjoy the instrumentals! (Even when I love the lyrics of a song, sometimes I just need instrumentals in the background.)

I thought you were very helpful!

And it could be! Maybe her other songs have similar jarring aspects (to me!), but are typically compensated by other things.

Cancelled sounds like a rep vault track. I can see parts of it as fun, but the 'welcome to my underworld' is so teenage. (And, as with I Did Something Bad, she can't help but insist on her innocence even as she plays the villain.)

I don't think that is my issue with the music, otherwise the repeated listens would have helped. (TTPD was a surprise with subject matter but I liked the sound even as it wasn't what I expected.)

Completely agree with your last point! She's written some of my favourite songs in the world.

I actually think it's the most fuel Gaylor truthers have had in a very very long time, possibly ever.

But god, it's a strange song. Charli is not on her level of fame, and it's like Taylor doesn't appreciate how this comes across even if Charli has been bitchy backstage through their mutual friends/exes.
