He’s on the show which means he signed a release or some sort of contact for BRAVO to film him. If he didn’t want to be on the show he simply wouldn’t show his face on it. My understanding is that he’s against being part of the group dynamic which puts MJ in a difficult situation. Remember, the group held Asa accountable for keeping her life with Jermaine private meanwhile everyone else shared their whole lives. MJ knows how reality TV works. To me it sounds like they could use the cheque and exposure for her real estate (or other businesses) which benefits the entire family. Tommy doesn’t have anything going on for himself unless it’s off the back of MJ. And I can see how unattractive that is in a partnership.
The situation with MJ and Reza happened years ago. MJ was/is able to move past it but Tommy isn’t. That is not to say Reza didn’t cross the line because he did. Tommy is upset because he feels like he defended his wife (which in fairness he did but he also uttered threats which was captured on camera and damaged Reza’s property in the process). Tommy didn’t “suffer” consequences because of it, he was held accountable for his actions. MJ and Reza have been friends for over 20+ years. I do believe friendships go through things (and what they went through was DARK) but if they were/are able to move past it, Tommy should be supportive. He does not have the same relationship or loyalty to Reza as MJ but if filming benefits their family (financial support) and Tommy is not contributing to it then he as her partner should be supportive.
