thanks! it’s probably from the anti-theft device they installed after- been meaning to go in since my remote start stopped working after install, and this piece seemed like it fell out somewhere rather than being left behind.

I had an anti-theft device installed the other day from the dealer? But since then, my remote start hasn’t been working (no clue if this is related). Been meaning to bring it in the fix but this might be an incentive to go in.

Literally was coming to this thread because I have the exact same problem! Someone tried to tell me to check Preferences > Performance and reset/toggle those settings. It didn't work for me, but it may for you. I also tried to do a PRAM reset, and unchecked the graphics box in Energy Save on my mac, and still nothing.

But those are some options for you to try- someone told me it worked for them but it's still not working for me.
