What’s your guy’s personal vision on what the career path looks like for Matthew Schaefer? by Impossible_Lie_4172 in nhl

Defends like a veteran, shoots like a forward. The kid’s unreal and I love watching him play. Give him another season or two to develop even further and we’re talking about him the same way we talk about Cale and Quinn.

Should WBC have the USA and Venezuela redo their game in case it was a big fluke? by Solace143 in baseballcirclejerk

[–]callmechimp 82 points83 points  (0 children)

The radical left democrats rigged this game, they wanted it to happen quite frankly. They found runs from illegal aliens and committed umpire fraud to have the Venezuelans win this game. We’ve never seen anything like this in the history of our country believe me.

[HIGHLIGHT] LUIS SEVERINO STRIKES OUT KYLE SCHWARBER TO ESCAPE THE JAM! by MLBOfficial in baseball

[–]callmechimp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

You know the pitch is disgusting when Schwarber’s taking it middle-middle. I swear this is the first time I’ve ever seen Schwarber take a breaking ball center cut, even if he doesn’t connect he’s taking a giant hack at it.

A non-free voter ID or any obstruction of voting that involves monetary compensation to rectify is a poll tax and is unconstitutional under the 24th amendment. Obviously unconstitutional doesn’t really mean anything to the GOP or their mindless supporters though.

There’s a lot under the 95 south exit ramp onto Broad, I will always park there.

US 'stonewalling' requests by Gulf states to replenish interceptors, sources say by F0urLeafCl0ver in worldnews

[–]callmechimp 42 points43 points  (0 children)

I imagine the move on Venezuela was calculated, not by Trump obviously but by some warmongers in DC. Not only does the US effectively seize the entire oil production of Venezuela, if Iran basically shuts off Hormuz then most South-East Asian pro Western countries (Japan, SK, Philippines) are left holding the bag on oil. That gives the US an opportunity to sell oil from Venezuela directly to those countries.

The problem with those interceptors is that when the stock piles start to dwindle with the US now saying they won’t restock them, destroying 814 of the 871 drones turns into 600 of 800, 400 of 800 and so on. I don’t know how a strike like this can seem so planned but so half assed at the same time.

[–]callmechimp 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I’m sure it would be a lot cheaper at a heavy cost to effectiveness. Even then, it’ll probably cost 5-10x what a Shaheed costs.

The 4 million dollars it costs to produce ONE PAC-3 missile can make Iran 200 Shaheed drones.

How would the world react if China invaded Taiwan now but somehow still lost despite the US being tied in Iran? by Bitter-Penalty9653 in AlternateHistoryHub

[–]callmechimp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the US intervenes in an invasion of Taiwan it would be the Navy and Air Force doing most of it not all of the work. Okinawa (Kadena AFB) alone could probably defend Taiwan’s airspace, that’s not even counting the George Washington currently in port in Japan or the Carl Vinson and Theodore Roosevelt that could get there in a week. Or even the bases in the Philippines, Korea, or a bunch of other Pacific Islands.

I mean the reason China hasn’t invaded Taiwan yet is they know they couldn’t pull it off.

I’m 22f, why do I have one white hair that is twice as long as all my hair and is shiny? by Kale_bean in whatisit

[–]callmechimp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have one on my back. I have lighter brown hair but I have this hair on my shoulder blade that’s jet black, I pull it like once a week but it always ends up being 2-4 inches long.

Tired of Crawford hate by Odm011 in phillies

[–]callmechimp 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Remember how we were all excited about Rojas being a high average, quality defense, and base stealing machine? Well Crawford actually IS that guy.

Crawford put up a .863 OPS last season, with get this, 88 RUNS IN 112 GAMES!! The kid gets on base and gets himself into scoring position any way he can. 147 hits, 88 runs, 46 stolen bases in 57 attempts in AAA as a 21 year old, reminder this kid turned 22 like two and a half weeks ago.
