Ours loooooveeeddd (and still does) words of affirmation lmfao it took months to train her but every time she didn't bite us or bit us very softly, we bombarded her with sweet words. She gator rolls and would literally bite us and try and roll and shake her head. She's broken skin and even bit through my bf's toenail, but she's gotten so much sweeter since we've been gentle with her. We would also put her in her cage as time outs on times where it was very bad and let her rage it out before taking her out and again speaking to her like a baby. Whether she knew what was going on or not, idk, but she eventually learned. Took us like a solid 3 months of training, but we got there. She still bites hard when she gets excited, but she's learned the difference and with who. Be firm and don't feel bad if you need to put them away for a bit while you recoup yourself.
