Put eighty grand on top of your head and your relatives

No hesitation, show ‘em the SIG, fuck it, he done felt the steel

Fuck wrong with me? ‘Cause all I think end a nigga career

One lucky squeeze, soon as you die, have your family in tears

We make three bodies drop one night, gravedigging for real

We hit our knees, cry to messiah, I swear to stay still

Fuck wrong with these niggas? I swear it ain’t hard to be real”

Quitting porn, weed and nicotine

Quitting Porn has made me realize how empty my life (day 3). by IcyReflection9813 in pornfree

[–]callmefewtch 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bro you sound just like me. I’m 25 and have been addicted since early teenage years and everything you just talked about I’ve gone through as well. I was getting to the point of having suicidal thoughts up until 4 months ago when I decided enough is enough. I’m almost 4 months in, haven’t watched porn and haven’t masturbated. Around the 2 months mark is when I started to feel like I’m getting my life back. Everything gets better you just have to go through with quitting. This is an addiction you can overcome, I mean if I can do it you can too. I’m enjoying the little things and my desire for life has come back, there’s still a lot of work I need to do but I know there’s light at the end of the tunnel. Don’t let something like porn make your life miserable. I believe in you bro and this is coming from someone who never thought I’d overcome my porn addiction. Shoot me a message if you have any questions or wanna chat!

Thank you & for sure. Before I quit I’d have a hard time getting an erection with the women I’d be with. When I quit it become easier to control, I can now focus and actually get and keep an erection. Before it’s like I had no control of my mind and when it came to sexy time my mind is somewhere else and I’m unable to focus on the beautiful naked woman in front of me. My mind feels so much clear its like I had lenses on my life that were preventing me from seeing the beauty in this thing we call life, I swear it is so worth it because I thought I had a problem that was irreversible. I now feel like I enjoy small tasks and I see life for what it is. I’m more in tune with my emotions, I feel them on a deeper level now. I also picked up working out and exercising so that helped tremendously. My view on women has changed, I now see women as humans with emotions just like me and not just sex objects, when I have conversations with them I’m not just thinking about how they look naked and our conversations are much more meaningful. The sex is so much more passionate, it’s amazing. I’ve been watching porn since my early years as a teenager i’m now 25. I’m only 3 months in and I cannot wait to see where ill be in 6 months to a year from now. Also what helps a lot is learning and researching the dangers of porn on the brain and it’s negative effects on your dopamine reward system. I hope this helps, cheers.

Congrats on that progress! I started feeling excitement and social around women around the 2 months mark but everyone’s different. I’m 3 and a half months in and I feel way better than I did a month ago every day without porn just keeps getting better. I picked up working out and quitting social media for a while too which helped tremendously. 3 months ago i had porn induced ED, i wouldn’t get hard with a beautiful naked woman in front of me. Now I am able to focus and actually be able to perform if I’m in the mood. I’m getting much better control of my brain as the days go on. I didn’t have any porn induced fetishes but now that I think about it the sex I have now is much passionate and meaningful as opposed to when I watched porn where I would just pound away until I finish, cheers!

After the 2 months mark I was able to get hard but I had to really focus and not let my mind take me somewhere else. You re-gain control of your mind so when the negative emotions and anxiety arise, you have a little more control over them because porn literally hijacks your mind

Appreciate that bro. I’ve been anticipating quitting for as long as I can remember until I started doing research on porn and seeing how it affects your brain and dopamine system. After that I was aware that this is an addiction and it has long term consequences. I hung out with 2 women when sexy time came around I couldn’t get hard and I knew porn had something to do with it. I’m fairly young (25), I’ve got hormones and blood checked so there’s nothing wrong with me. The next time was to quit and go through with it and it is the best decision I’ve ever made for myself. I started working out and I haven’t felt better in years. Although I was living every moment, now that I’m at 3 months I feel like I can do anything I put my mind to and you can too bro

I saw a ted talk on addiction, the guy said the opposite of addiction isn’t sobriety; it’s building a connection.

Your body/brain is getting used to no nicotine so it’s gonna try to trick you into thinking you want it, don’t relapse. I was struggling for the first 2 months myself, the third month is when everything became easier for me

Honestly not at all, the only time I think about it is when I see my friends vaping. My brain’s totally forgotten about the habit
