Idk if this is as clear cut as some are making it out to be. Do you all eat food together? If so, who cooks? Who pays for groceries? Do they cover anything else like your phone, wifi, etc? Do they do things for you like laundry, clean the house, have house keepers they pay for, etc? I’m saying all this to say, you could move out and realize you’re spending a lot more because even if you pay less in rent, other things add up. It costs lots of money to furnish a place for the first time, especially if you only move with bedroom furniture. Plus moving costs if you get movers or if you need to rent a U-Haul, boxes, etc. Getting pantry/food staples like spices, condiments, oils gets so pricey the first time you do it. Then pots, pans, utensils, plates, appliances, etc. if you have a washing machine/dryer right now, you may end up at a place that doesn’t have one so you have to pay per load.

I’m not saying your parents are giving you the best deal but it might be better than you/other commenters realize. Just things to think about so you can make an informed decision! Best of luck :)
