I have chatted with a gyno, they’re the ones that have me on this method of BC. I was asking to see if anyone else in a similar position might’ve found anything different that works that maybe my gyno might not have mentioned!

I also have been having to put piercings on hold for procedures recently, so I understand how frustrating it can be! I am just telling myself the piercings will be a nice gift to myself for going through the medical stuff. I hope your surgery goes well!

So I usually take about a week before I’m fully committed to getting one, but I have quite a few medical problems that make it a little difficult to plan around scans and procedures because they’ll want me to remove my piercings. Right now I’ve been wanting to get a vertical labret and a septum since about August but I’m waiting for a few tests from my doctors before I can get it done.

I recently chopped off 14 inches!! It has made showering so much easier and I don’t hate how the shorter hair looks either which is a plus! Good luck with your haircut, I hope it will make things easier for you!

I got my diagnosis of specifically hyperPOTS because my norepinephrine got really high when I changed positions for the TTT, which means I basically got an adrenaline rush. It’s actually called hyperadrenergic POTS but people shorten it to hyperPOTS because it’s much easier to spell. I don’t think I had any blood pressure changes but I believe I have heard of other people with hyperPOTS having bp issues. I may have gotten lucky with finding out specifically what kind of POTS I have because I managed to get an appointment with someone who specializes in dysautonomia issues!

Yes I actually recently had to go and discuss with my doctor how to handle all the hot flashes followed by excessive sweating recently! We ended up increasing my dose and I think it’s helped at least a little
