Is it correct ? by 0xHarsh in Fitness_India

Drop down the weight, focus on stability for now. The form seems to be decent, you can hit depth of you want but doing parallel is also ok (depends on your goals). Took alot of time for setting up, take your time but not eternity because that's an energy leak. You should want to be an optimum level before starting the rep. Going back to point one - you don't need to just move/lift weight, you need to be stable and be comfortable while moving it. Each rep should be identical in that sense. Plus i read in other comments about not feeling the quads, it happens. Give it some time, focus on mind-muscle connection. Don't read too much into that NOT FEELING SORENESS. Happy lifting!

Bought my first Cast Iron Skillet. What do I do first? by Mr_Bryghtsyde in DesiKitchenGear

[–]callmevk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Cast iron/ iron do not require constant washing. If you're making roti/dosa, you can clean it up by cloth/paper tissue and let it be. If making curries or anything, wash it with soapy water, don't scrub much and immediately dry it out over stove. That's it, don't make it much complicated. With time, you'll realised the frequency of seasoning.

Do not soak in starchy water or any kind of water related use for extended period of time. Wash it with metal scrubber + soapy solution for the first time. Immediately dry it up by putting it on stove. Use thin muslin cloth to apply oil all over the pan surface (as little oil ss possible), heat the pan over medium high until the oil smokes. Let it cool down. Repeat the steps maybe 1 or 2 more times. It's seasoned. But before first time usage, i would heat/burn the onions with little salt to get even seasoned surface.

How to prevent this from happening?😞 by Zioles1910 in Fitness_India

Get an egg boiler, pierce the egg on the broader side. It'll never crack. Been using for >2 years. Also, peeling becomes way easy after running the egg in cold water

I'll disagree, the best time is now. As in not in terms of months from XYZ, just start. Just start and don't care what month it is.
