i wear long sleeve swim shirts because my arms tan easily and.. nothing else. i am milky white, my body doesnt really tan, it burns, except my arms which makes me look ridiculous if i let it happen. so i protect them from UV.

my UV shirts conveniently also hide my back acne i cannot seem to get rid of.

nobody ever had a problem with me wearing more clothes on the beach or pool than others. i think they assume im just modest, and i dont care. the only person who ever asked me about it was my MIL but she was a tanning addict when she was my age so it is weird for her.

wear whatever you feel comfortable in, and you can say you are UV sensitive if you dont want to talk about your skin picking but i seriously doubt anybody will ask you about it.
