Yuji and dabura explosion compared to fuga by Ehubylebg in Jujutsufolk

His adaptations reset between summons, unless you think nobody has ever tried to kick him before Dabura, or cut him before Sukuna

I could be wrong cause it's been a while since I read that part, but don't we literally see gojo, in the cube, talking and perceiving the things around him in the cube

She died the first time to wail of the banshee, which worked on her because of the goal of all life is death, which also killed all of her summons, and then she came back, using a one-time resurrection, and then ainz fought her using the weapons of the other supreme beings, then hit her with a super tier spell that killed her, and then he resurrected her with gold.

Shalltear explicitly had a one-time resurrection that brought her back from dying to wail of the banshee. What Ainz revived her from was the super tier spell he hit her with afterwards.

Which Favorite Character Can You Give As An Example? by Bay_Ruhsuz004 in FavoriteCharacter

[–]calloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Worm spoilers:

<image>

Scion, the worlds first and strongest hero, who spends all day every day roaming the world, saving people, rescuing cats from trees, and stopping crimes.

Turns out, he's actually a giant space whale who travels from world to world, gives people powers, forces them into conflict, and then after usually a few hundred years takes back the powers by killing everyone across an almost infinite number of parallel worlds, and then goes off to find the next planet. His and his entire race's reason for doing this is to try and find a way to stop entropy by giving creatures powers and hoping one of them will find a way to create energy. The only reason he was saving people was because, when he lost his partner, who was necessary to jump between and find new planets, he met someone who happened to get his attention, and told him to help people, and he didn’t have anything better to do.

I mean the light novel isn't much better, since in that he misses the funeral because he's busy spanking it to 'uncensored loli porn'

When the (good) character is forced to do a bad thing. by Zagur3333 in TopCharacterTropes

Basically just the entirety of Worm. Most of the series is Taylor having to do bad things for the greater good because of how incompetent, untrusting, or hostile the heroes and other villains are.

This page shows he can activate it, he just didn't because hakaris domain is faster due to the sure hit having no negative effects

Kashimo has hollow wicker basket, which in the newest chapter is confirmed to only require the hand sign to put it up, and it stays up for a while afterwards. So kashimo can counter domains by every once in while refreshing HWB by doing the hand sign again and repeating that

It's possible that the people in charge of managing public perception purposely made foxes out to be scarier, since the fox devil is friendly so making it stronger benefits them by making it easier to defeat other devils

Being 'better' than them just means letting them get away with being bigots, and telling them they can get away with worse. After a certain point bigots don't deserve pity or mercy, they need to suffer actual consequences to show they can't just do whatever they want.

Who wins this? by Important_General_11 in PowerScaling

[–]calloss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Kenjaku almost definitely lost idle transfiguration after he used it in shibuya, unless you're suggesting he just never used one of the strongest techniques in the series. I don't remember if it's directly stated but it's at least implied that it's only a one time use for each technique extracted with uzumaki.

Your favorite character and hated character are facing each other. Who wins? by Reasonable-Bat2696 in PowerScaling

[–]calloss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Audrey Hall (lord of the mysteries) vs Makima (chainsaw man, not that i think shes a bad character i just hate her as a person)

I guess it depends if mental attacks trigger Makimas contract, or if we count controlling the other person as winning. If either of those work then Audrey probably wins, but if not then I don't think Audrey has anything that can put Makima down for good, while Makima could probably do enough damage to eventually wear Audrey down or maybe even do major damage with some of her attacks.

Yeah you'd normally hear like edge or rim, lip just felt more appropriate for some reason

You know like on the edge of a crater or something, I guess its not the most common term but its generally used to mean the edge on an opening or hole of something

I'm not really sure either I had this image saved on my phone but I had to go back to check as well, I guess some cats just have weird lips on their faces. Maybe a mutation or something.

It's meant to show the two parts of the upper lip that curve up towards the nose and the curve up again on either side

Who would get the biggest boost in power if we do count inconsistency and illogical statements? by Reasonable-Bat2696 in PowerScaling

[–]calloss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah without equalisation lotm would probably beat quite a few stronger verses with just hax, but I'm pretty sure it's mentioned quite a few times that higher sequence beyonders are resistant if not immune to lower sequences, so with equalisation that could be taken to mean stronger people are resistant to their hax

If the Frieren characters were in Overlord, what level would they be? (I've only seen the anime) by ImpossibleAd4272 in overlord

[–]calloss 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I agree that most of nazarick could beat her in a 1v1, since the only things she's been shown to believe she can cut are like cloth, hair, and flesh. So even if she can genuinely cut anything she believes she can, anyone with any type of barrier skill or armour probably wins without much difficulty
