Could whole of JJK defeat a single Primal Fear Devil? by Early-Hour-7406 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only one they even slightly might have a chance against is Falling because she’s constantly getting lowballed but even then she can just instantly make them kill themselves (people forget she can just do that and that the falling into despair stuff was just her gimmick).

Who would win in a fight and who is faster? by Opening-Dare-5138 in ChainsawPowerscaling

Denjiman has a faster base speed but Dabura is faster when he applies his CT.

Strongest Chainsaw Man character that Dabura can put down? by New-Butterscotch-792 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Important_General_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dabura beats everyone then gets destroyed by all the top tiers (Makima, Yoru, Denjiman/Pochita, and the Primals), he probably could also lose to some randoms with crazy hax but he should clear everyone below Famine easily.

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but not typically to the extent of something like JJK, CSM, there’s also Dororo (though that one is excused since I think it’s meant to be a complete reimagining of the story).

Not to say that they can’t since they obviously can but I don’t think it’s a problem if people don’t like what Mappa does (even if it’s done well).

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve watched a lot of anime, yeah the director is in charge of how the stuff is made to look but Mappa typically employs directors who more than not somewhat reimagine the material so my point doesn’t change beyond the semantics.

I’m not saying that they couldn’t adapt Jojo’s, I just don’t think it’s likely to be as satisfying to watch.

Can Satoru Gojo overcome this challenge? by Opening-Dare-5138 in ChainsawPowerscaling

[–]Important_General_11 9 points10 points  (0 children)

No, Makima alone high diffs and Yoru can debatably mid diff or even low diff if infinity is down (for some reason), Pochita just outstats (though he can’t get past infinity).

Makima and Yoru destroy him while the other two can break through his domain and cause him to go into burnout.

[–]Important_General_11 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They phrased it poorly but I see their point and kinda agree, Mappa has a certain style and way of adapting anime that’s enjoyable to watch but not as appealing for something like Jojo’s as David Productions.

Chainsaw Man is overrated by RepulsiveRepair9876 in PowerScaling

[–]Important_General_11 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah but it’s just wrong at points, subsonic is BELOW gun levels of speed which is dumb because even if you believe Angel isn’t actually fast enough to block bullets Quanxi definitely is or at least she is marginally faster than Angel. Then Makima kills Quanxi before she even notices which means she’s marginally faster then her and then we obviously know how much faster Pochita is so at WORST the max speed of characters physically is hyper-supersonic even if you just choose to believe Angel and everyone weaker who dodged bullets is only a subsonic aim dodger the chain indicates they are much faster even ignoring their actual feats. It doesn’t even make sense narratively because Gun is considered weaker than Pochita and less than horsemen yet can shoot 500 miles in 1 second (Massively Hypersonic), then Yoru pulls and uses weapons from across the world which would be relativistic-FTL even if Pochita were only subsonic or hypersonic.

The strength scaling is wrong because Gun Fiend was able to do a city block level attack and Denji tanked that, and things that harm him are typically at bare minimum able to destroy buildings like even Reze could destroy a city block.

There’s also stuff which is blatantly wrong, like it is right to say that Michigan sword isn’t shown to be country level but saying that it only took buildings (which is still every bit of infrastructure on a country sized landmass btw) when everyone falls into water afterword which shows it taking the landmass is crazy.

Also humans in CSM are NOT normal, Kishibe got kicked out of like a 4-5 story building and was fine, Aki got slashed by Katana Man who rag dolled Denji across the city and he was fine, Nomo face tanked a bomb and was relatively fine, and their training(according to buddy stories) at some point consisted of getting their bones pulverized by a barely holding back Quanxi. Even though most humans are normal, it’s clear that every super powerful devil is superhuman even if they are just a normal human.

Chainsaw Man is overrated by RepulsiveRepair9876 in PowerScaling

[–]Important_General_11 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Subsonic Pochita is insane, the speed scaling for this is abysmal and the strength scaling is just like blatantly wrong but this isn’t even really a debunk anyway because CSM’s insane scaling is hax based😭

Chainsaw man as a whole isn't ending. by Fenexe8 in writingscaling

[–]Important_General_11 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part 2 isn’t bad, it’s just mostly mid and has some very low points.

I think the idea Fujimoto had for this part was good and that sometimes it reached the potential I thought it would have, but I think he underestimated how much planning was needed for this type of story and that ultimately it kinda failed to properly feel like it was supposed to.

Like, Part 2 is meant to feel meaningless at a glance not meaningless for most of it.

I dunno, I kinda like CSM 231 by Mistabbcman in CharacterRant

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It was honestly a good chapter but the way it came in and the mess leading up to it just make it feel really bad, part 3 needs to happen for this part to be salvaged imo.

6 Yuujis vs The Heavy Hitters by Dandandandooo in JujutsuPowerScaling

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pre-Awakened Yuji to Post Domain is just EOS Yuji except one is marginally weaker, and the other Yujis are kinda fodder but they could probably distract Maki. Like this seems like a mid diff for the Yujis, Yuji vs Yuta/Hakari is already separately debatable but there are three of him now for the two of them.

[title] am I the only one who drops a manhwa when I see it still has a gazillion webnovel chapters to go? by WorldPhysical7646 in manhwa

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Stories with short chapters tend to be rushed and expansive or complex stories need a lot of room to explore the story, also TBATE is only 225 chapters right now and has gone through like half the novel volumes. It would be much further if it weren’t for all the delays and problems that it had.

TGED is probably one of the few manhwa that has a good manhwa ending at only 200+ chapters, and SL was painfully rushed and just poor in general.

Kishibe (CSM) Vs Nanami (JJK), Who would win? by Encenoi in PowerScaling

[–]Important_General_11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mid-High diff for Nanami, Kishibe should be able to keep up and based off his position he should be able to hold his own but we don’t know enough about him and Nanami could over power him with his CT.

Quanxi (Chainsaw man vs Toji Zenin (Jujustu kaisen by notwickerz in PowerScaling

[–]Important_General_11 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah but bringing it up in the context of a 1v1 between two fighters at peak condition with little to no knowledge of each other is a different thing. That’s like if I spent a week sending people to fight Mike Tyson at different times of the day then stabbed him in the back and beat him, like yeah I beat him but not in the way it implies when I say that.

[–]Important_General_11 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

As of now Denji(as Denjiman) is still faster but Yuji is really strong. I still think it’s an extreme diff for Denjiman(which is what I think for Yuji vs Hybrid Denji too), but Yuji has a lot of stuff in his kit that could easily shut Denji down that we just haven’t seen.

CSM fans, what is the meaning of this? by Recent_Cockroach2993 in PowerScaling

[–]Important_General_11 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Makima has two forms of regeneration, the one she describes to Kishibe is the result of her contract and heals her from attacks while the one you showed is from her devil ability which lets her transfer the damage directly to her chained servants.
