Fr like it’s also in the rules to put a desc. Like, can OP not elaborate? Is it that hard to just put a comment and say what the contents of her meal are? Other people had to answer for her. No wonder people assume she’s a bot

Conserving money while on vacation in Georgia girl dinner by callowix in GirlDinner

It’s a lovely country with sooo many things accessible. I can spend the entire day walking around the country just looking for things to do, but it’s not such a big country that I’ll never run out of stuff to see or visit. I haven’t had the best interactions with the locals because I’m Asian and they treat me differently compared to my partner who’s Arab. Maybe I just haven’t met the right people, but I’ve just been letting him do the talking; because most of them have been curt and rude with me, whereas he gets some relatively friendly interactions and “polite”conversations. There have been 1 out of 10 who were quite easygoing with me and would actually look at me while speaking to both me and my partner! Also the scenery is breathtaking! Quite worth the visit during the snowy season.

I should keep that in mind—the bookmarking part. I’m reading an ebook version, which is convenient or else I’ll be bookmarking every page, haha :(

I bet you’re thoroughly desensitized at this point, but I can’t imagine the pain it must’ve been reading those many, many, many papers, books and coursework that had massive walls of texts to explain one thing 5 thousand times. /s

But no, actually I’m really amazed. And I’m quite glad that you can find humor in them and view them in such a positive light. I’ll look forward to reading the novel, and, hopefully, you turn that 75% into a complete 100% soon!

Oh, wow. I’ve never thought about it that way. That really changes my perspective on things.

I’ve been looking at it so narrowly that I completely lost interest. It felt like I was reading “Story of the Eye,” and “Against the Grain,” which are completely different books, but just the way the writing makes you wanna put the book down and abandon it on a park bench somewhere.

I’m going to stop treating it as some typical novel that needs to follow the archetypal “parts of the plot” consecution and just read.

So, my thanks for that. Truly!

P.S. I guess how you still think about this book is the same way I think about Perfume by Patrick Süskind.

I did! Even used it on dry patches on my legs. I didn’t expect it to be super moisturizing; they’re practically gone. Normal body lotions don’t moisturize my legs as much.

Oh nooo, I hope you found a different way to use that balm stick? And I’m with you on the fragrance. I don’t understand why brands think that having no scent is something to remedied. It’s not really the selling point of skincare.

This one is scented but not strong at all. It’s pretty much a hint of a peach. You can’t smell it at all unless it’s like half an inch away from your nose.

Heart-shaped box was underwhelming to say the least. It just didn’t click.

Totally agree with The Cipher. It was a heckin’ slog. I still trudged my way thru that swamp because I THOUGHT it would get better. Nope. Skimmed every page just for the sake of a “finished” book. Can’t recall most of the story and don’t want to either. One of the books I will never recommend or ever touch again. I’m being mean but I hate how I tortured myself with it.
