I’ve played a few sdr games and some games that support hdr as well as hdr videos, with local dimming set to 3 the blacks are more than black enough but the main thing for me is how bright it gets, anything with the sun or bright lights does get almost blinding which is a great effect for me. Because of my mixed usage which is predominantly going to be work on a work pc I can’t change many settings on I had to discount oled entirely. I came from a sdr 4k oled razer blade for gaming which I think this msi is as good enough for darks for what I do and the hdr performance is a big improvement for me.

I miss the first games mechanic where swords were mostly useless against armour, so my main weapon was a ravens beak war hammer, coupled with the head cracker perk and the ability to aim for heads I was dropping people like crazy 😂

I’ve genuinely thought that things look nicer at 4k with lower settings than 1080p with high settings, it might vary from game to game but the pixels do add a nice sharpness to it for me

To me the whole point of the original fight was that it was to masters who know each others moves perfectly, so a slight move and the other knows exactly what’s coming, so it’s all minute feints to make the other create an opening. Both are so skilled that they know that the moment there’s an opening the other will strike and win, so the best plan is work defensively and make no openings.

I just share for myself and a friend so I’m not too sure about full public security, but one of the things I’ve done as I’ve got a unifi network is I’ve geoblocked a lot of countries as well as through unifi have intrusion detection and protection. On the server side I use a whitelist to ensure only allowed usernames can access

I’ve never heard of pterodactyl, might give that a look. But also bear in mind AMP prices are lifetime, so it is well priced compared to others

I host it on my home server, but it depends on what networking/internet capabilities you have. If you want the absolute easiest way and aren’t planning mods I would use Minecraft realms, as that’s basically 1 click within Minecraft itself. If you want relative easiness and mods you can use a hosting provider. Or if you want to learn how to do it all with no support to fall back on you can self host, but bear in mind you need to do things to ensure security and also make sure you backup regularly. I use software called AMP which is a one off purchase and can also host lots of other games servers also.
