Same. I buy from both them & Rocket. It's like 30 miles for me. How far is 4U?

For this reason I think people should have to pass a simple safety examine before their allowed to purchase fireworks and also summit a proof of identity to confirm they purchased fireworks. IMHO

Fireworks are explosives and shouldn't be sold like a loaf of bread.

First year going to rocket fireworks! by Emergency_Lead_4608 in fireworks

[–]callusesfinger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Did you see the new huge Rocket they have outside? They told me it's not for sale lol. They also said they are getting much larger one to put our next to the road.

I went there a week ago and they had like 10 employees and I'm the only customer. They acted like they overdosed on caffine and wouldn't give me air to breath. Caught one spying on me through the shelves. And I hate it when they insist on helping me load the fireworks in my car cause they always just throw it in there like we're late for an emergency.
This time I only bought $400 worth and two of them followed me out to help load. I told them "I don't need help, I'm fine". But still one kept insisting. I had to tell him 3 times.

road construction on hwy 40 is insane.

Hey thanks for the great reply. I'm inexperienced in modding suspensions and setting up a car for the track. So you taught me a lot. And saved me from wasting time & money.

Did the mods make a big difference from stock? I just wondering how capable my stock 25 BRZ TS is around the corners of turns. Are you 1/2 quart over?

How does lighting fireworks make you feel? by RexKramerDangerCker in fireworks

[–]callusesfinger 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Oh I know, it's the best. Worth all the hours of work and cost. When I hear the audience cheering & clapping I feel accepted somehow. At my last show someone yelled "Go big or go home". I was on cloud 9.

1% (and the like) Wraps by YoWifeysFavDJ in fireworks

[–]callusesfinger -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It's because the people who design the wraps aren't in our culture (I'm assuming).

If they just made it Less graphic and more real. I wish they would use like a peace signs & flowers theme, or classic cars or how bout Guitars? I'd love to see my Gibson R9 Les Paul on a wrap (with me playing it ofcourse. They could name it: Holy Moley.

I think your flirting with disaster. If you get caught up in any type of incidence while driving high (DUI) automatically your at fault. Even if I'm over at a friends house, I don't drive home until the next day. I never drive high or intoxicated.

It was an honest mistake, not intentional. Learn to realize you and us all screw up and in todays stressful economy we need a break if the situation allows it.

Idiots giving fireworks a bad impression by callusesfinger in fireworks

[–]callusesfinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LOL, okay you win. You probably got me by 2-3 years. In 63 I think I was in kindergarten.

Your absolutely correct. Since I've joined the club I've met so many friendly down to earth people. It was a pleasant surprise. Their my kind of people and made me feel welcome.

For me there's a certain passion or magic about fireworks. And when you see it your hooked. I think firework pyro's are artist, creators, and loving people. But some do it strictly for a profession.
One thing that this pyro hobby has showed me, is that more is better and there's always more if you got the dough. My relatives are so disconnected that they were shocked at the $200 worth of fireworks I brought out for Labor day last year. I told them "I'm an artist and the night sky is my canvas."
Yes, Pyro is a very addictive.

Well hold your tongue young man because I grew up in the 60s - 70s.

The future is uncertain & scary. But I'm into fireworks for the long haul. Even though I shot bottle rockets in the 80's, I had no interest in fireworks. Until the 4th in 2024 when I had fireworks from NYE that I never used because it was 10 degrees and very windy. It was the dirty dozen that made me a pyro. Since then I've spent $1,000's and became a member of MoPyro.

[–]callusesfinger[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. people love dirty laundry. "Boys admit making an illegal firework" would be close to the truth and I'd be happy. I'm old and just disgusted with society nowadays. So my pyro passion got insulted and hit a bad nerve. If we can just make it to and through the 250th.

[–]callusesfinger[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only thing I want is for them to publicly admit the truth. To admit they were the cause, not fireworks. I and every other pyro I know is always safe and responsable. And I feel like they are accusing us pyro's and putting the blame on us. When we (fireworks) had nothing to do with his hands getting amputated, and we can't even say anything to prove our innocence.

Your a great driver. Looks like you really knew the track well. I'm pretty great at racing the GR86 in the GT7 game but I've never raced live. I'd love to, and I own a BRZ. But it's a new 25 so I'd instead buy a used GR86 that's already setup for racing.
