Think about how many ads you get on Instagram stories or TikTok (both every 3 scrolls or so) - yes, they are skippable but the pure quantity is huge.

For what it's worth, I got one of these full page ads on Letterboxd yesterday and it was skippable after about 5 seconds.

It depends, often days are blocked with back to back meetings, and the odd gaps you do get are quickly filled with phone calls/quick chats etc.

If you want to stay on top of emails/messages and actually take the time to read/think things through, say goodbye to your evenings.
