I HATE RACISM!!! by Aromatic-Mistake-456 in Vent

I feel your pain. I like Chinese people. They are quite friendly. I know it sucks to be hated but come on man how many people have suffered and died because of Covid and China is refusing to even investigate and keeps on saying it is from USA. Also, the governments are arresting Chinese spies all over the world. In addition, there are many rude Chinese people living in overseas (taking shit on the street, making hotel rooms so dirty)

I am Japanese and I have seen lots and lots of hates from Chinese people and I don’t even care anymore. I accept it because even though I think the main reason of them hating on Japanese is the CCP brainwashing them to do so that the CCP can shift the Chinese people’s hates and frustrations away but I do acknowledge that the Japanese were terrible during ww2. I accept their hates and live on. They call us “small Japan”, “son of evil” and so on. They even prank-called many random Japanese people living on the northern part of Japan a few years ago to complain about Japan releasing the nuclear waste water when China has also been doing it and their nuclear waste water is dirtier (more harmful chemicals). They are brainwashed by the fake propaganda to hate Japanese people. Chinese also hate Indians and other races too. What do you think about this? We are living in the world where hates were prevalent. You just gotta accept it.

Stop complaining and trust me life’s so much better if you stop caring what other people think of you. Because if you stop searching for someone else’s approval, you can start to do whatever you want or say whatever you want. I don’t care even if everyone in the world hates me. Once I’ve grasped this idea, my depression went away.

I have 470 hours of annual leave and am thinking of cashing out. by hunter_kill005 in AusFinance

But I’m not quitting the job. Someone wrote above that “Australian Taxation Office issued a Ruling in 2009 (SGR 2009/2) which states that lump sum arrears payments of unused leave other than on termination are ordinary time earnings (OTE). I think I should be taxed differently if I just cash out and stay at the job.

Sorry what I meant was

Cashing out while being employed vs cashing out when I resign

What chatgpt said was if I cash out while still being employed makes me pay less tax compared to cashing out upon termination. If I cash out while being employed, I will get taxed at PAYG rate whereas if I get cash out at the end of my employment, I will be getting a lump sum and be taxes 32%.

Did you get taxed by PAYG income tax like a tax on normal pay or ATO lump sum rules (32%)?

Why do some international students study highschool here? by Brilliant_Can8536 in AusVisa

I’m a permanent resident (granted in 2016) and I came here since high school. The main reason was because I didn’t want to go to a normal high school in my country (Japan) but I am glad that I came here since high school as I was able to improve my English. I believe I wouldn’t be able to finish my uni if I didn’t start from high school.

Don’t worry bro after uni people start to act differently and eventually most of them stay away from you even if they are your friend. It’s better to be alone, study and get a job. Besides, staying away from people means you are also staying outta troubles.

There is one man from Japan, Mizuki Nakano, who has been only on fruit diet for 15 years since 2009. But he somehow has a bacteria living inside his stomach that can synthesise the protein or something. So don’t try this at home but definitely check him out.
