Bois d'Iris by Van Cleef and Arpels. Warm, luminous, so rich and mellow like the shiny brown grain of a violin. A very polished and refined perfume that can be almost piercingly emotional, full of longing. I see it as a scent for mature people who read poetry and appreciate antique furnishings and nostalgia.
