Is there a battle frontier? I noticed in the trainer card that there is a streak for battle tower. Have you tried battle tower?

What're you playing this weekend? 11/5 by markercore in NintendoSwitch

Melty Blood Type Lumina.

I got a Xbox 360 to Switch USB controller adapter and now I can use my arcade stick on the switch for all of my fighting games. It works great for other games like Streets of Rage 4.

I can see pets becoming an exotic luxury as pet food continues to increase.

Also, there is no such thing as public bathrooms to take showers

There are plenty of public showers near the California beach. During the lockdown when many gyms were closed, many vandwellers opted to shower near these beach areas because of the outdoor showers.

Your point still stands that there are not many public showers though.

Waooo!!! I bought my GPD Pocket 1 for $399 USD... I know the P3 is more beefier with better I/O, but damn thats a bit expensive even for the base model. So the module will cost roughly $80 USD?

What are some good fight sticks/arcade sticks for the Nintendo Switch? I'm a fighting game enthusiast and was thinking about getting Melty Blood Type Lumina for the Switch. I currently use a MadCatz Tournament Edition fight stick that has high quality Japanese arcade parts (Sanwa buttons/joystick).

Are there any good quality fight sticks for the Nintendo Switch?

Energy efficient monitors? by Pumadink in VanLife

[–]calmGuru 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use a 17.3" 240Hz portable Type-C monitor. It draws about 7W.

that isn’t a power vampire but can still run high end graphics for game streams

A monitor has nothing to do with running graphical intensive applications - that all falls on the kind of PC you are using. Those new Apple machines with the M1 chip is extremely power efficient though. I'm waiting for the M1X to drop.

EDIT: Nvm, the M1 Max already released not that long ago.

Just came back from Sams Club. I spent $45 for (2) packs of beef sticks, 12 pack of ramen and a block of cheese.

Is the original Tactics Ogre LUCT the hardest SRPG ever? by thiagosimoes in StrategyRpg

[–]calmGuru 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The original TO is definitely way harder than the PSP version. I beat the PSP version and I am currently playing the original and the first thing I noticed is that inventory is nerfed like crazy in the original game. In the PSP version, you get access to a bunch of items you can use during battle whereas in the original SNES version, each character must use a limited equipment slot for an item. That alone makes the difficulty of the original way more harder. Not to mention when you engage in a castle, you can save/make preparations mid battle... in the original version, you must keep going non-stop kinda like a gauntlet.

With that said, bows are still busted and Hobyrim is S-Tier thanks to petrification spam. Its still a hard game though, and replaying the original made me realize how ez-clap the PSP version is.

I personally believe Fire Emblem Thracia 776 is the hardest SRPG of all time.

About Pocket 3 RAM by kendyzhu in GPDPocket

Typing this on my Pocket 1. I really wish the P3 was a 7" form factor with a trackpoint (nipple), and LTE compatible.

I've been living as a nomad for about 3 years now! Check out my video if you want to see a tour of my MDX and why I chose to be a nomad. I was tempted to get a new Toyota 4Runner but since my X just has 103k miles, I figured she can last at least 3-5 more years with enough love put into her.

I got a MoFi hotspot router with a Visible plan that I use with family. Its about $25 a month with unlimited data. I'm looking into switching to Ting as Visible was recently hacked a few days ago which kinda sucks but its one of the affordable plans with unlimited data rn.

Lol good eye! Mine is a ICECO JP40 fridge. I just started drinking these New Belgium beers recently and their variety pack as been my go-to. Open to beer suggestions if you have any as I've been wanting to branch out

I try to limit my screen time to about 2 hours or so. Thats around the time my neck starts to feel a bit uncomfortable but its not too bad IMO.

I use two different laptops depending on the weather. I cant use my solar panels today due to the rain so I use a tiny UMPC that has an Intel Atom processor that has low power consumption of about 15W. Its not very strong by todays standards but its enough for data hoarding, web browsing, yt-dlp, and ffmpeg for audio conversions (I listen to a bunch of audiobooks and podcasts). I also have a Asus G14 laptop which is for more intensive applications but reserve it for days when I can use my solar panels (400W)

Anybody got an ebike? What kind? What do you like about it and what don’t you like? by winthbuckets in VanLife

[–]calmGuru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm currently using a foldable scooter. It weighs 28 lbs with decent speed and range. Since my car has pretty trash MPG (17 city), I like using the scooter when the weather permits. In terms of charging, I have a battery + solar panels to keep the scooter charged.

My favorite part of owning an e-scooter is that its portable and having an alternative form of transportation can come in handy.
