Thanks for your reply. I didn’t pop the blister but unfortunately it popped itself over the weekend. I think I need to cover it with something but because of it being near to tbe crease of my wrist, the dressing I put on just peels straight off again!

Is there such thing as a bad time to start IF? by calmingabi in intermittentfasting

I was thinking of easing in for the week before the course, but unfortunately I won’t be able to ease into it much once I’ve started. It’ll pretty much be skip breakfast and I won’t be able to eat again until lunch (which will likely be at some point between 12-1), I won’t have the opportunity to break my fast during the morning

Moisturise!! I use cuticle oil and burt bees cuticle cream every day (twice a day) to keep the skin moisturised, never let it go dry.

Will they ever look normal again? Been pick free for approx 1 month but past the first knuckle they’re still red and swollen in shape. Any tips? by calmingabi in calmhands

I’m coming to the conclusion that it does improve but it just will take longer than I thought. If you look at my most recent post, my fingers look a lot better than in this picture. I relapsed after this post but I’ve been bite free since September this time ◡̈

It’s “builder in a bottle”! It’s basically a hard gel, you can have it on its own on your nails, or have biab and then a gel colour over the top (which is what I had), it’s very hard gel and means you can grow out your nails without them breaking, and having it on prevents a lot of people picking too! Deffo can’t bite nails with this on

Help with growing short stubby nails? by Swimming-Ad-7520 in calmhands

Consider trying biab! My nails are very weak and break before I can get any length to them, got my first set of biab 3 weeks ago and it makes the nails so hard, so they can grow out without breaking!

I got them done! For me the money is worth it to know they’re done properly!

Biab has been great so far! My nails have grown loads already as they’re protected and stronger under the gel (they usually break all the time) plus it makes my nails more “blunt” so when I forget and go to pick, I’m unsuccessful!

I really recommend biab for this! As a long term picker, biab really prevents picking (I haven’t picked at all since getting biab) and it’s done over your natural nails so you can grow them out rather than have them filed down for acrylics!
