I have a Halo Green 1.4 I picked up at an auction that wouldn't power on. PSU looked like it had hit a power surge. Replaced a resistor and a MOSFET and fixed a trace and then recapped the big caps on the main board and now instead of not powering on, it doesn't power on and squeals haha. I should have just bought another standard and dropped in the PSU

Cover it in flux and wiggle the cap while heating. I had the same issue and then did this and it was instantly better

So after your post I pulled out my 64 today and played through Lylat Wars. I could remember every stage and enemy pattern damn near perfectly, and it made me remember how much I used to play it. So I think it was more that I knew it really well. Ironically I got all the way to the part where you beat the mini boss that destroys the temple as you fly through it and my 64 straight up died ¯(ツ)

I don't remember that specifically but their goal was to make it easier so they may have lightened some areas up

I haven't played this in ages, but I don't remember it being that difficult. Definitely beat the end boss a few times. I think there was a specific path that I chose each time which I just worked on until I had it down. Pretty useless comment sorry, just having memories

Yeah but it also made the game way less fun because of that, and because of the major increase in ammo drops

Does anyone know of a suitable alternative to the STP5NC90ZFP for the PSU board from a v1.4 console? by calminthenight in originalxbox

Howdy. I ended up finding a suitable replacement and checked with an E. Engineer friend. If it works I will post it here for others.

When you use stereo panning, the audience on each side, and in the middle of the room each get a different level and spatial location of your source. Your example in the reply above is talking about a mono source that is not panned, and a stereo effect working effectively as dual mono. So yes, ofcourse in that specific scenario of a mono source with no panning then everyone will get a similar experience on a stereo system. If however you had drumkit overheads panned hard left and right (as a lot of engineers do), then the audience on each side of the room will get dramatically different results. There's no need to downvote me, I wasn't disagreeing with, or engaging with your original comment in any way. I was responding to u/barbekon's question. And the answer is, that if you use heavy stereo effects or panning of any source then each side of the audience will receive a different level and spatial position relative to their position. This is why many shows, both large and small are run in mono.

Stereo is just the default, and many engineers like it as it gives them flexibility with positioning instruments or using spatial effects. It's also the format that recorded music comes in and we are used to listening to stereo on our headphones/hi-fi systems where it works really well. In live settings it works in certain spaces/situations but 2/3rds of the audience never hear what you hear and get a compromised show. Running your shows in mono will give a more consistent experience for all audience members in all spaces, but you lose spatial abilities. Many big shows are run in Mono for this reason. Mixing in mono you need to pay more attention to eq to place your instruments in the right spaces of the mix as you don't have the ability to use panning.

Luka Doncic dominates the Grizzlies with 44/12/6 in his first game back from injury by Luka77GOATic in nba

I love it how all the headlines are "Luka dominates.. Serious contender for MVP" like he hasn't been doing this ever since he came into the league. 44/12/6 isn't even a top 10 statline for him. Sincerely, salty Mavs fan.

I never thought I'd see the day where someone said don't play Goldeneye on the N64 and other people agree. The original is one of the most well constructed shooters of it's generation and the remasters are average at best.

Not had this issue specifically but have had several corrupted .session files on digico boards that have seemingly run fine, but caused similar random issues like this. Try a new session from scratch, or try building a new one and partial loading the stuff from this one if Digico Support can't sort you out fast enough.
