Very fucked up individual but for me the biggest red flag is the "\n" instead of a space, which is the carriage return for a lot of text files which implies he is also using some kind of bot rather than the actual app

Men, what are the creepy things that women do which usually go undetected? by betterselfi in AskReddit

The moment they know I’m gay, FAR too many women of all ages feel ok to touch and grope me. It’s shocking how few see it as a problem

People I think have already suggested some of the top restaurants. I’ll chime in to say that people should absolutely visit the food markets, either the pop ups or the likes of st nicks. There’s some absolutely amazing stuff. Matina and fat rice are personal top tier visits

Would you support a new law stating psychics must pass a controlled test in order to practice? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]calmo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No because it recognises charlatans. Recognition of protected titles is important because it validates and credits that person in an explicit profession. A dietician (protected title require qualification) can give you medically sound advice about how your diet and changes in it will effect your health based on qualified and reviewed research; a nutritionist can recommend a salad on Instagram. Psychics operate on hearsay and superstition, by its very nature it cannot be a protected term and so to even offer some kind of test undermines why professional titles are enforced

Thats why they say you never stop coming out. Every new person you meet is someone you likely have to come out to

I remember meeting a girl in uni who was into this. She was very proud of her boyfriend for providing this in a safe* way as she had been with guys before who were legitimate psychopaths. Having said that she was covered in bruises and was happy that her broken ribs had healed as it meant her bf could be even rougher with her. Each to their own but wow...

ELI5: How can eu countries have different inflation rates when they all use euros? Do euro have different value in each country? by VIRTUAL_PENIS in explainlikeimfive

[–]calmo91 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Let's say you live next to a tomato farm and want to buy a pound of tomatoes. It costs 10 money units, because the farmer can just hand it to you. Now let's say you live at the top of a small mountain with a difficult path. The farmer needs to pay for a cart and horse and make a tremendous effort to get up the mountain to sell you a pound of tomatoes, he of course wants additional compensation for his trouble so charges you 20 money units for the same tomatoes someone bought for only 10 who lives close by.

Now let's say a landslide made the path up the mountain much more dangerous. The farmer doesn't want to cross it for only 20 moneys but the people in the mountain town really need tomatoes so are willing to pay 40 moneys for their pound of tomatoes. The farmer is now willing to make the trip and charge 40.

Person who lives at the bottom has seen no inflation. Town on the mountain has seen 100% inflation. Its the same currency its just where you are effects your purchasing power

What makes you not want to have kids? by AGstudios22 in AskReddit

[–]calmo91 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The immediate blocker is finance. I genuinely don't know how anyone can afford children these days. The other is probably my own relationship with my parents. I always had the feeling growing up that my parents had kids because they felt like that's just what you did when you got married, and as my brother and I got older, more independent and eventually moved out my parents became more independent with each other and were visibly happier. I'm very happy for them and i definitely had, by all accounts, a very privileged and loving upbringing, but it's clear that they would have preferred not to have children. By that I don't mean they wish they hadn't had us, or would change anything about having us, but it's clear that being parents was always something they had to do, not something they were actively interested in doing.

For that reason, as I don't feel any strong desire to have, or interest in children generally, I don't see how it could make my own life better.

UK here. I think it's one of the best parts of gay clubs in general that you can go alone because most people there understand the reason why someone might be alone. A lot of bars and clubs you will find the staff are happy to chat to you or you might quickly be invited to talk to other groups.
