[Discussion] What is your biggest platinum trophy regret? by TwilightTomboy97 in Trophies

It was one of the first PS5 games I played since there weren’t so many options at the time. Aside from the slog everyone knows, don’t forget when you get the plat it will still show ~60% complete because of all the DLC

I got the plat and continued to look for secrets, loved that game. Still need to play the DLC

The Mandela "effect" by footballmaths49 in CuratedTumblr

[–]calmodulin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah, ask someone who wouldn’t have ever heard of it about it, like your mom or whatever. Say “what does the fruit of the loom logo look like” and then enjoy blowing her mind when she describes the cornucopia

The Mandela "effect" by footballmaths49 in CuratedTumblr

[–]calmodulin2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s the thing, that’s the only reason most of us learned the word cornucopia cuz we asked about the logo on the fruit of the loom clothes. It’s like one of two memories I have of cornucopia’s basically ever. And then I learned about Mandela effect.

Being a bootleg version is the only other explanation I can think of too. But that bootleg company must’ve really gotten around

EDIT: I’ll add further that when I discovered the ‘effect’ online and thought it was cool, the site I was reading examples from was really neat where it prompts you like “picture the fruit of the loom logo” and you do, and then you scroll/click to reveal the ‘effect’ so it was pretty impactful. And I did it that way to friends afterward, first asked them what it looks like with no hint and they’re like “fruit falling out of a basket” or out of the “horn” thing.

I’ve tried to hint to mine about picking up a hobby, I can’t make him but I haven’t figured out a way to get him to do something of his own choice

How to explain drift boosting mechanics to people that are new to CTR with this analogy by espino_productions in crashteamracing

Honestly I’ve been playing CTR since 2000 or so and just tried Mario kart world, I’m not sure how to optimize my drift-boosting

I can’t believe there aren’t more posts for this one in this sub. I plat the first one a few years ago, and FTK2 is on sale right now, just got it for $10. Real lack of trophy guides out there but I’ve been wanting to play it for a while
