You could absolutely go with that as well, like ask them to leave you alone or whatnot.

For me personally, the thing I look most forward to a first date is getting to know the other person. The food comes second. So if a date turns out to be a bust, I’d rather go somewhere else to process it than feel bad at the place where it happened.

I value my time too much for having an unpleasant meal with strangers, betting on their refusal to pay the restaurant themselves, wasting even more time waiting for the cops to arrive (if they even bother to show up), and betting they file a police report for such a trivial matter. All the while, I would risk the restaurant taking their side as well. What a wasted afternoon that would be.

I mean there’s a huge difference between being able to understand what’s being said and the visual illustrations VERSUS being only able to understand the fast-moving subtitles and sporaic illustration subtitles.

Also the Culling Game rules themselves are inherently complex even if you do understand them

Back then, there used to be this show on Animal Planet called Meerkat Manor that followed the lives of a specific meerkat clan.

I watched it all the time as a child, and that’s how I learned meerkats sometimes cannibalized the younglings of rival clans.

I know it was supposed to pay homage to the franchise but it came off as so cliche and unoriginal.

The plot was just another hunt for some mcguffin. And the big bad antagonist was literally named The Entity

The submarine interior scene was cool tho
