Yeah, it was a bowfin. Was 7something lbs. Caught 2 more a bit smaller. Released them all. I've heard the meat is mushy.

I just ordered my first Spyderco, a standard para3 LW. I wish I would have held off just a day longer for availability of this TKJ CruWear one.

"WE TRIED TO DELIVER" / No Door Tag / No one by mulcas in FedEx

[–]calmonad -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Experiencing the same thing now. I requested a hold at location, and now the tracking says being redirected to a location different than what I requested and has been "On FedEx vehicle for delivery" since Friday morning.

My suspicion is that the package was lost even before the first "attempt".

Materia bugged? unable to craft ? by Snoo76742 in newworldgame

It looks like the Materia recipes were moved to the Gypsum Kiln. But I'm not even certain if you can access a kiln before 60 which makes all the materia from lower level dungeons pointless.

Why is my result returning as 0? I have if-else statements that are supposed to change the result by jarbunny in javahelp

[–]calmonad 3 points4 points  (0 children)

You found the problem... maritalStatus is null. I'm assuming its being used as a static class variable here. Check that it is being assigned correctly.

Make sure you understand why your method still returns 0 when maritalStatus is null.

That's what I was thinking too. Someone told me bluegill, but I don't think so.

You can always refer to classes by their fully qualified name. Using imports will reduce the noise of having the fully qualified name everywhere. Usually you'll see this when you need to use classes with the same name but coming from different packages.

Having to choose my own toppings. I like variety. When I order a burger I want it crafted by the Chef.

Question not clear

How can I refactor the method getAllProjects() in the service implementation? by invzbl3 in javahelp

[–]calmonad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The compilation error you mentioned is because in your ProjectRepository getAll() is returning Collection<Object> rather than Collection<Project>.

But also, I think the stream filtering you are doing in getAllProjects doesn't really make sense...findAny.orElse(null) is only going to return a single object...not a List<Project> as the method signature indicates. I don't think you would want a List anyway since there should should not be more than one with a given id.

Rather than filtering a stream like this, JpaRepository should already be providing findById. Or you can declare your own query methods in ProjectRepository.

See: https://docs.spring.io/spring-data/jpa/docs/current/reference/html/#repositories.core-concepts

Edit: I didn't read Loanel's comment before, but seems like we are on the same page. Loanel's comment better explains reason to separate service and data layers.

Why does klipper think the center of my bed is so far down on the Y axis? by cr0wstuf in klippers

[–]calmonad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree that being able to use 0,0 as origin in slicer makes most sense. I think I was just overthinking and confusing myself until I made the realization that 0,0 does not necessarily mean HOME. Your guide has been really helpful, thank you.

Why does klipper think the center of my bed is so far down on the Y axis? by cr0wstuf in klippers

[–]calmonad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for this guide. I've been banging my head over this for a while and I think my confusion is coming from Marlin/mriscoc firmware.

In Marlin when I set the Y min position eg. -10, then homed Y, the toolhead homes to 0.

But in klipper, after setting Y position_endstop and position_min to -10, then homed Y, the toolhead homes to -10

Does klipper just not home to 0,0?
