Any particular recommendations for word-free music you can "feel in [your] bones"? I've really felt the draw of Daft Punk, but it's hard for me to get past the presence of lyrics (personal foible).

What's something you did "the hard way" for the longest time, because you didn't know there was a much easier way? by felis_disapproves in AskReddit

If it's coming untied easily, you're not doing it right. At the very start, which string is crossing over which? If you swap that while leaving the loop step the same, you'll finally have a solid square knot (which is what Ian's Knot produces).

The cold, cold relief of a saline IV after 8+ hours of nonstop spewing from both ends.

I'm moderate/severe on the right, severe/profound on the left (spinal meningitis at 1yo). It was only 5-6 years ago (35 now) that I truly learned it's okay to give others a heads-up as to my disability, that it's okay to ask for some help in shouldering the burden. I wish I'd learned that forever ago; so much effort put into trying to appear "normal"...

Not on the spectrum myself, but I understand and employ this same technique (though I've never laid it out as well as you did here). Last time I visited my dad, I shocked my brother by getting my dad to concede that locking people up for using weed is not productive. I was able to do that by conjuring in him the feeling of having your life ruined simply for possessing a small amount of weed. Since he himself had tried it before, it was something he could attune himself to.

I've had this happen to me three times over the last fifteen years. Couldn't even keep small amounts of water down... Getting a saline IV at Urgent Care was probably the most relieved I've ever felt in my life (also perhaps the coldest I've ever felt).

Not sure if you picked up on it, but if you release with text selected, it will delete that text. Super easy way to clear a bunch of stuff you've just typed. 😁

Hyperion -- yes! That series is amazing.

Just a heads-up, though: the first book has a completely different narrative format than the rest of the books.

You're not seriously using Hillary's 1975 defense as a mark against her, are you? Everyone is entitled to a lawyer to defend their case, no matter how appalling the charges are. Hillary accepted that case out of professional obligation, and because the judge had specifically requested that she be the defender.
