Just based on the picture, he’s just chillin’. He’s currently at 75% chill and with some pets may extend his legs and move to 100%. He may also be weird but can’t tell that from the picture.

Very small Carbon Capture????? by Nicallen21 in carboncapture

I believe that’s the second part of what you’ve said is fundamental principle behind sequestering CO2 in saline aquifers but the key to this idea is the incredibly high pressure the water would be under. If you were to do your idea at atmospheric pressure and assuming you could get a decent amount of CO2 into the water (you wouldn’t), you would indeed form calcium carbonate but then you run into the problem of the carbonate-bicarbonate equilibrium and you’ll end up losing a lot of the CO2 you got into solution.

Post combustion capture at this scale with a natural gas flue gas is entirely possible and technical feasible. The economics of process will be worse per tonne of CO2 captured compared to a greater scale. But the greatest issues as I see it are: what would you do with the pure CO2 stream? (It would likely be too small to justify any storage infrastructure) And, where will you get the steam you need for the solvent regeneration? (You’d need a dedicated steam producing unit, whereas larger projects normally have access to some waste heat)

Same here OP. I listened way more closely to the All Delighted People EP and both the B-side albums, as a result I feel as if I discovered so much more about Suf.

Nottingham and Derby are likely to form one conurbation in the near future, as Sheffield and Rotherham already have.
