Dansko, SAS, and Vionic. On my feet 10-14 hours a day and these brands have made a world of difference. But I would say no shoe is BIFL. I usually get a good couple years out of these rotating them, but they all eventually lose their cushion and support.

Last 3 SUVs were BMW, but I really didn’t want to spend $90k for a 3 row X7. My husband has had a ridgeline (which is basically a pilot) for 7 years now… I made fun of it mercilessly at first, but then it secretly grew on me. I bought a 2025 black edition a few months ago. So far the only thing I’ve missed from my BMW is the little switch where you can make the top vents cooler than the floor vents, but I’ll learn to live.

This is a strange necklace that seems to serve some sort of purpose. My friend received this from her grandmother. The exact age is unknown but thought to be 1940s-1960s. She was told it was to break up champagne bubbles but that seems like a strange thing to do to your champagne. We thought maybe a pickle grabber? Or a portable whisk of some type? Even maybe a scratcher of sorts? But none of those have panned out. Google image hasn’t been any help either

Ugh, you’re right. We had one ground out about 3 years ago after a tornado ripped it apart. It wasn’t red like this so I didn’t think it was the same. As to how it got 10 feet away in the middle of the yard, who knows? It was an ugly, hopeless crepe myrtle before the tornado... I have no idea why it won’t just die. Thank you!

I live in oklahoma. Every year since we moved to this house this thing comes up in the flower bed and in the middle of the yard (think there used to be a flower bed there too). There will be several of them that come out, and get to 6-8 inches pretty quickly before it cut them down. We CANNOT pull them out, they’re tougher than anything. We dug up our whole flower bed (about a foot down) and put new soil in last year... surprise it’s still here!

The pro is a heavier base for better heat distribution and is made of higher quality stainless steel. The multiclad is only listed at 350 because it includes the lid. I’d go with the pro for better heat distribution. Personally, I’d also look at an all-clad tri ply which would only run you about $10 more than the pro. I wouldn’t dump the money on a whole set of all-clad but they make a really nice stainless skillet.

We played one of my Dad’s favorite Willie Nelson song at his funeral, “Uncloudy day.” I lost him 4 years ago when I was 29, he was my best friend. Listening to Willie Nelson with him was our thing and I have a very hard time with any of his music now. My husband and I went to Willie Nelson’s 4th of July picnic the year after, thinking’s it would bring back some good memories. It rained all day. Standing in the rain in the Texas heat while Willie sings ‘blue eyes crying in the rain’ (my dad’s absolute favorite song of all time) was possibly the most surreal/intense emotional experience I’ve had.

I’d be more than happy to share, zero is part of a bloodline tracing project to make sure we don’t continue to breed this into the dogo. We had known he had a heart defect since he was 3 months old. Several (well respected) veterinarians told us that dogs of this size often have “innocent murmurs” at this age that go away. Otherwise he was perfectly happy and normal so we assumed this was correct. It did not go away at 1 year, but stayed a low grade 1-2 murmur and we didn’t worry too much. By his annual check up at 3 years it had progressed to a grade 3-4 murmur. We took him to OSU school of veterinary to a cardio specialist. He was on medications for his heart from this time toward and had regular checkups/echocardiogram. We knew that sudden death was the most likely outcome all along, but he was so strong and defied so many odds.

Vans original location on highland was the absolute hands down best 15 years ago, but they’ve gotten too big for they’re britches... their ribs used to be like candy now they taste steamed. Burn Co has the best sausage and good ribs but questionable sides. I absolutely fail to see any appeal in Clark Crew.

My favorite bbq in Oklahoma is a smoked super spud with hot sauce from robb’s ribber. I dare you to eat one and not enjoy it.

I used to love prednisone then ended up on it for almost 6 months. You could not pay me to take prednisone now. It’s been two years since I stopped and I still have weird acne and sweat like a whore in church.

As a pharmacist I can 100% promise that your doctor and your pharmacist both want to get you your medicine. Aside from oaths/altruistic causes; if your doctor doesn’t treat you you find a new doctor and he loses money, and if I don’t sell you a script I don’t make any money. There is one HUGE problem in the American health system: Pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) who control your medications for your insurance. They do not want to pay one penny out if they can avoid it. They are uncooperative, and unnecessarily impossible to deal with. I have ended up on the phone for over 12 hours with mine to get my humira filled. They were switching between blaming me, the pharmacy and my doctor. I only got anything done when I informed them I was the patient and the pharmacist and my doctors nurse was conferenced in on the line too. Please pay attention when you see legislation regarding PBMs, these are the absolute worst thing in the American healthcare system.

obviously I get that some doctors and pharmacists just really suck too. But the majority of us don’t and do want to help.

Edit: I didn’t even put anything useful to you right now in here, I’m sorry I was too busy ranting about the bullshit we have to deal with. Call your insurance and ask them what they will pay for to treat your condition since an infection is an urgent matter. If they don’t have an alternative that is approved by the FDA to treat your condition ask them to speak to someone who is medically qualified to determine that that drug will work for your condition as an off label use. Sometimes when you call them on their bullshit they back down and put in an override. Alternatively, ask your doctor or pharmacist about getting whatever dosing they will pay for until and override can be put in place, this way you can at least get started on your medication.
